Her appeal seems pretty obvious - she's delightfully authentic. Clearly nerdy, often awkward, and raised by internet culture, which makes her very relatable to a lot of us.

Patty is genuine in the space and never fails to make the rest of us dorky folks make us feel 'normal'. Very happy she's blowing up and hope she has further success.
As an older person in my 50's I have friends my age that say to me, "if I was young again and I new what I know now how much better I would be". And I say to that, No. It doesn't work that way. You wouldn't be the person you are today if you didn't go through life making mistakes, making good decision, bad decisions, immaturity, being afraid. These are all the things that mold us and make you who you are today. And I will continue to make good and bad decision in my 50's to the day I die. Being a little worried is not always a bad thing. It guides us, pushes us. It can bring the best out of you or the worst out of you. Do the best you can. Be good to yourself so you can be good to others and to the world. When you are good to the world the world will be good to you.

That was a dope interview. I've only just come across her recently but her content is really cool. She's down to earth and not into all that fluff that other female fitness YT are all about - just plain normal but in a good way and it's really refreshing too.
Yo you two did an amazing job! Interview was so genuine and seems effortless to sit down and just chat. Loved this
I completely agree with her when she said making your passion your job can take the fun out of it. I became a personal trainer at a young age because i was so passionate about fitness... i ended up hating fitness for a while after this and have had to redefine everything. I thoroughly sympathize and understand that.
I rlly respect Patty for sharing on this podcast, she’s been a huge inspiration for my own work out journey being focused on strength training. I think she’s an amazing influencer and a pretty great role model to others being so down to earth

At first working out was a passion and I agree with Brad when he discusses how overtime it can become a burden instead of your quiet/safe place to kill time.
Great episode, this really sheds some light on her personality, whereas before, to me, she was just another female content creator that you come across from time to time. Good vibes 💪🏻🔥
I think, Lean Beef Patty was referring to Erik Erikson development stages, stage 8 - 31:02 Need to grow folks! Erik Erikson's 8 stages of development: 1) Infancy (0 to 1 years old): Trust vs Mistrust 2) Early Childhood ( 1 to 3 years old): Autonomy vs Shame and Doubt 3) Preschool (3 to 6 years old): Initiative vs Guilt 4) School Age (6 to 12 years old): Industry vs Inferiority 5) Adolescence (12 to 19 years old): Identity vs Role Confusion 6) Young Adulthood (20 to 25 years old): Intimacy vs Isolation 7) Middle Adulthood (26 to 64 years old): Generativity vs Stagnation 8) Maturity (65 years old and above): Ego Intergrity vs Despair
I love Lean Beef Patty so much, she’s such a breath of fresh air from the other popular female fitness influencers.. that are all about being thin, curvy, blonde, and seem to try and put on the same cookie cutter personality.
This was amazing brad appreciate how the pod went keep it up!

Hearing him call himself a p*ssy with his anxiety was nice to hear. Not because I want that for him, it sucks, but growing up as the tiniest kid, who was always smaller than the smallest girl in every class my whole life, bullied by every jock or gym bro, I grew up.not only crippled by anxiety, but I had a lot of stereotypes toward gym guys, which, my adulthood since getting into the gym, I realize is definitely not the standard. I meet some of the coolest, chiller, and most informative people working out. It's just nice hearing guys that, in my own insecurities, I always viewed as being guys were above my mental health issues, almost on a pedestal. As for Leanbeefpatty, I only recently discovered her but I'm a big fan. I admit that is was originally mainly just my male brain being attracted to her, but her personality is adorable and sweet. Then you see the content, and she has great workout videos, but then talking about mental health and everything, she's just really top notch.
