If you’re having to PTFE the cap threads you have a problem with the rubber seal. The threads in the cap and barrel are not designed to be gas tight as no gas is supposed to get past the rubber crush seal in the cap.

Thanks for that I’ll try it. You would have thought they would get the lids right on such an expensive keg.

nice tip there Tony, I mostly bottle but do have a little keg So will pick myself up a role of that tape.....

Replace the 4” o ring in the cap

Ptfe tape is all most as useful as duck Tape
