I've got a 2006 boxer and it did this to me when I did my filter. I had to take it to the garage to sort it. Crap design.

Just done mine sir as done by you step by step but had to go to a garage to ask them to torque it down as I didn’t have a wrench ,anyone would think I was asking for blood ,but a nice one man band with a smile did it for me so I bought him a drink .THANKYOU .

I own a 2007 fiat ducato..and have heard of this common fault..so it was good to see it being put right in your video..thanks for taking the time..I will order that Laser tool.

There's the difference between a mechanical engineer and a "fitter" great video. I have a fiat ducato 15 plate, really awkward to get to filter aswell.

Fuel filter fitted in difficult locations,,does not make the job easier also not having the right tools for the job..thanks for the another great video.

Just done mine, no need to remove anything, just need a short 13mm offset or a short reversable offset rachet spanner.

It takes only a couple minutes to remove the headlight and makes the job so much better

Manufactures today are making car & trucks as cheaply as possible. Main concern is cost. The buyer is left with needed repair. But the customer is not forgetting bad quality autos. Many will never buy that brand again.

Hi! After a similar problem with the leak, immo on appears on the board and does not start. Do you have any idea if there is a fuel sensor that makes immo on?

ive had them leak on 2 separate fuel filter changes(with special too) ,,now just bite the bullet and buy the whole unit with filter,,clip in clip out

It's been fine so far so won't be replaced just yet 👍🏻

They replaced that crap plastic with a metal cannister one later

Should of changed that shite piece of plastic for a proper lucus filter available from any good farm machinery supplier
