I think its because the games are too fast.

The game is in a terrible state and riot games refuses to acknowledge it. All they do is censor any comment they can that might talk about the big trouble the game is in right now. They completely ignore the cries of their community and that's why the game is doomed. It's sad to see it because i used to love this game, but i cannot even recognize it anymore.

They removed names in lobby. Which forcing u to play losers que match up. Suddenly u end up with a iron inter feeder in a silver game. And all u can do is pray that the phag won't go 0/6 in 10 mins. Since they removed names lobby, and created a arms race of flooding items buffing this that champ every week I became really toxic to the point its become part of my game. Literally im reinventing langauge that wont be detected for bans. Because all that is left after yr teammates fed hard to the points its out of control. Toxicity is all that u can do! I don't care if ppl think being toxic is bad. I literally HATE 99.8% of all NA players and hope they jump off a roof!

One day, the community will begin to understand they use "EOMM" or an algorithm similar to it. Those who are of higher skill will stay low elo simply because riot picks and chooses who they feel "deserves" to be in Gold, Plat or higher. I am still in awe that nobody other than myself has caught riot "Lie" saying they do "Not" use "EOMM". Simply put, they only care what skins they are making and care not of your time. Truth hurts riot really bad which most likely my comment will be deleted because they do not want the truth to get out.

Me and a friend were playing league today, he was bot and I was Supp. We left leaning faze decently fed, (6/2/4 jinx with 174 ish farm) and me, a nami with moonstone. We walked to drag pit only for us, our jungler and my mid instantly dying to a lay ulty. Now that’s not so bad, but she had built ICE BORNE GAUNTLET AND RAVENOUS HYDRA. Like, BRUH

Honestly,the game itself is a weird spot bcs of the meta,some people like it some don't but the real cancer is the community,those fuckers that will snipe other players,that will find ways to exploit the system,either through some mmr exploit or through smurfing,our community is becoming a bit more toxic and non caring and i don't know what riot can do about it

I just want League to be a fun game to play while also having competitive side. The universe of LOL is insanely huge and is the source of joy and an imaginative safeplace for many, so let us have fun in the League games as well. I mean al of them, not only LoL. But LoL has the biggest issue yet

Rainbow Six Siege has a similar problem, you just can't play the game without playing like a tryhard sweat, otherwise you get stomped and have no fun. 2v2 Arena was a step in the right direction, it was perfect to first-time and practice champion mechanics, or just having fun with them, without having to commit 40 minutes to a competitive environment where every mistake has consequences for the rest of the match

I peaked in s5 with azir and Viktor. I was diamond 3 when there was no grandmasters. Been watching the game and playing aram since then. Game is trash right now because everyone is one shotting one another. Everyone deals shit ton of damage. Gives little room for mechanics and outplays positioning etc

People getting so easily tilted at a winnable game are the real problem. Honestly, i've had so many turnarounds despite the team score looking like 0 vs 7 at the start because people know what scaling is and how easy it is to win when you hold out until late game. Those who give up and start trolling because their fragile egos can't handle shutting the hell up and start arguing and blaming and straight up refusing to play are the core problem here. They take away the little chance you have for a comeback.

Season 13 has the worst balance we've had since season 2. Season 12 had the most critical bugs of ANY SEASON EXCEPT SEASON 1. Things are bad. Player counts are actually dropping, and I've noticed that Riot's claiming otherwise, so I made a few new accounts to see what's up. It's exactly what I expected: bots. Hundreds upon thousands of bots.

I see a lot of people blaming the game for it failing but honestly for me it’s the community specifically NA. When I started to see the majority of our pro players/streamers leave for kr or eu regions it got me wondering. Swapped to EU and never had an issue. Sure EU is toxic but atleast they are decent at the game and most play to win. Not like NA’s players that constantly seek to find any and all excuses to throw a game while proceeding to be a garbage tier player with little understanding of the game. I can stand everything else people seem to think why league is dying but that arrogance of NA community is the worst of it all, know it all’s while being absolute dogshit at the game they played for 10+ years is what I can’t stand.

The matchmaking has been horrific this season. I've never been matched with Irons while being high Silver ever. The skill disparity between the teams is insane to the point where when you win it doesn't feel earned and when you lose it's basically a coinflip. They have to be more strict and remove Duo Q once and for all, since it messes the MMR calclulations too much to compensate. They won't though, so fuck this game.

I like this notion but nobody will trust that decision enough to allow it, cause if they do and solo queue isnt much better then it dies altogether. Its either succeed or fail based completely on theory. Also this is something that would have already needed to happen seasons ago, we are kinda late in the game at this point that doing this would pretty much kill the game because it would take too long for the ladder to adjust itself on top of what about the other regions? How would it affect them? Theres just much more to this than "Remove duo and its fixed"

Idk if anyone reads this but like just played the new season today and legit like it sounds delousional but I swear to god I went 21/5 and lost and it’s just there is vi/naut and yone and it’s like I can’t do shit I was the only one fed tried to roam like I was master 70% wr and stuck in emerald rn haha 7/9 acc where I’m like pretty much perma win lane but u can’t just 1v9 when there is no one else playing and it’s not about positioning I don’t think me the 20% of the team has to play pixel perfect just to win when enemy bozo laner loses lane all time does no dmg total and neither objectives or has any sort of participation in the game but it’s easy to 4v1 for the enemy and if u don’t believe like I can’t help it

worst matchmaking ever

the game is not bad and it gives a lot for those who better master the game, but I just stopped playing cuz games are too long and like you said I feel my lane (top) has little impact. Like I can win my lane, but lose the game. so many people lose their mental and one person slightly giving up is enough to make my experience horrible. I would love twisted tree line like game or a ranked 3v3 game for them to come up with so there are less people losing their mental and ruining the game lol

I tried getting into league many times, but right now it feels impossible to get into. If you are behind, your first 10 minutes are gonna be farming under tower or if the enemy jungler helps your foe farm you under tower then you are going to have a guy who can p much 1v5 your team and you will feel like you can't do anything. Oh and add the team being buttmad about you losing lane. Very nice cocktail of shit and piss.

Most people complain from a place of love, I think. People want to like this game, and want it to be the best it can be, so they end up frustrated when it goes through a long slog like this. I can tell nobody bitched and moaned about For Honor more than me, and I loved that damn game to death

Dodges actually really help the game, when some people pick garbage for "fun" and others play to win, and since the game is significantly EOMM and draft diff oriented, unless someone is playing 4 tiers above everything else just trying to get to the next tier, the dodge helps avoid auto-loses. Most games are stomp driven in one direction, unless the comp activates and can turn the game. Also unless it's mostly squishies into tanks/cc that need some time for an item or two. It's a casino game. It's a waste of time. It's boring. And people are addicted.

I still think dodges are a problem, since it makes queue times longer, and it's much worse in high elo, but they're a symptom of a bigger issue: the game depends too much on the draft, and people don't know how to draft properly

Just because someone is playing Volibear top doesn't mean they won't perform, they might be a Voli main and perform better on him than any meta champ. In the same way, just picking a flavor-of-the-month champion won't be nearly enough to win if the player doesn't use it often Dodges should be saved for the Yuumi jungle and Renata top, not for the guy who's playing a 49.5% win rate mid mage that they main

Now if your Voli is a first time Voli or he is extremely bad or troll building, you'll never know until you're in game, and the game gives you a free loss. People say "League is at its lowest point" for like 8 years now and still the game claws back to the same playerbase. The difference now tho, they have 1 game that is ( if not more) as succesfull as League and an mmo in the woodworks that will also have a good amount of players waiting for it. So bassically they have to split up their team for 3 different games. They need to get settled to that idea. People still treat riot as an indy company but they Arent, they are a big games publisher without the experience that they need now. Give them some time.
