MY DAD died last april 17 and its been a year and im still missing that man and that song reminds me of him...

I've been singing since I was about 9 (I'm still 9 + 51 years). My father brought me up on big bands and Ella Fitzgerald where I learned how to scat (met her when I worked at the Seasons Hotel---THRILL). I used to imitate singers like Liza Minelli and do the dances. I always did it for myself unless someone snuck in and listened. I wouldn't sing in front of anyone. Now I have found your channel and finally have some quality music to sing to! A thousand thank you's!! (I did sing Leader of the Band as my Dad's funeral along with What a Wonderful World).

Thank you so much for this. My father has informed us recently that he has a terminal illness. Not imminent but there's a finite amount of time. He instilled in me a love of music and often spent afternoons listening to music while pacing the house. There was an eclectic mix of Dan fogelberg, don McLean, Michael Jackson, Chris DeBurgh, George Michael, etc. All on records and to this day I feel that's the best way to listen to music. Anyway, this song brought me happiness and sadness. Wondering if you might give Windows and Walls a try.
