My Mum was a singer. She felt if you couldn't understand what the singer was singing, then they were a rubbish singer and what they were doing was pointless. Singers with any kind of classical training usually have superior clarity. Mum didn't know of Lea Salonga, but she would have rated her highly I'm sure and respected her as a professional vocalist.

with Lea i don't need to look for the lyrics of the song. Such a great singer and performer. world class!

Sublime tone, clearest diction of all, interestengly she is singing half beat behind than normal. Still beautiful, it is Lea after all.

I saw Leah at the mall when she was probably 7 or 8 yrs old, I know because we're 5 yrs apart. I didn't know who this person was, but I was amazed at how beautiful her voice was. Forty plus years later, I'm her biggest fan. Bravo Lea!!
