From the clips it looks like she is really owning the role and taking the show to epic performances - saw it with Beanie and she was solid but not vocally there to take the show to the next level. The supporting cast is very good as well.

She's still a terrible person to everyone that has the misfortune of working with her. But on the plus side, working a lot means she's got less time to traumatize her kids. She's got a pattern of abusive behavior, and virtually no functional empathy. People throw the term narcissist around too willfully, but this woman is a case study
