There's (veeeery aggressive) noise filtering in the livestream that filtered out the sound of the wind and the crowd, but also unfortunately removed the REVERB, the low backtrack - and hear me out - certain frequencies of female vocals. This is why the fancams sound infinitely better than the livestream. It's a shame really, cause all of the circulating clips are from the livestream. That was NOT how they sounded at all in real life. Source: I work with audio

아니 악플 다는 사람들은 인신공격이라서 좀 선넘는 것 같았지만, 솔직히 르세라핌 실력이 아쉬운 건 사실임. 채원은 그나마 잘한다고 얘기가 많은데 보니까 못하는 건 아닌데 음역대가 안 맞아서 우렁차게만 하는 것 같았고 허윤진은 성악한 것 치고 고음 파트 떠넘기거나 키 많이 낮추는 게 듣기 편하다는 생각은 안 듦. 카즈하는 호흡 제대로 안 되고 음이 떨려서 안 들리고 목소리가 너무 작았음 사쿠라는 자기 파트 ar를 너무 많이 깔아서 혼자 너무 립싱크 느낌이 들었고 은채는 태도 지적 많이 받는데 그건 그거고 이건 이거라고 봄 은채는 아직 어리니까 못해 이런 건 솔직히 너무 변명인 게 다른 신입은 그럼 왜 잘하는 사람이 있냐 이거야 자만하지 말고 연습 많이 해서 성장했으면 좋겠다 르세라핌 노래 즐겨 듣고 잠시 좋아했던 사람으로서 케이팝을 알리기보다 화제성만 안 좋은 쪽으로 높이게 된 계기같다 심지어 그룹이 독기 컨셉인데 실력이 없는 건 말이 안된다고 생각함. 하이브 좀 정신차리고 연습 시키고 다음에는 제대로 내보내야 할듯 돈 벌 궁리해서 컴백하지 말고 완벽 컴백 기대한다.. 단지 내 의견일 뿐이고 악의가 있지 않음 단지 그저 피드백 나는 걍 인간이고 가수 아니라 노래 춤 못해 사실이야 어쩌라고 난 이게 직업이 아니야 태클 걸지 마셈

The Coachella tickets cost around $500 and people don't just come for the stages; they expect much more from the experience. I went to Coachella last year and thoroughly enjoyed the stages even bought stickers to commemorate the event. The essence of an artist is not only to entertain but also to know what they're performing and to showcase their talent on such a grand stage. 님들.. 너무 욕하는 데에만 혈안돼있지 말고 열심히 잘하고 온 다른 그룹도 관심 좀 가져주시길.. 코첼라에 에이티즈도 다녀왔고 되게 잘해서 해외에선 반응 좋은데 국내에선 관심도 안가져주고 오로지 르세라핌이 어떻게 하고왔는지 눈에 불을 켜고 지켜보는 분위기라 그쪽도 이쪽도 좀 안타까움

I am not a big fan of le sserafim but why everyone is saying they sound terrible?? The choreography is really exhausting plus the vocals are extremely difficult especially in live they are singing without autotune and still they sound much better

I'm not their fan, but seriously most people can't even hear the difference between live vocals and lipsync but still came here to criticize it's so funny... Go watch any music show performance so many people in the comment are complementing the vocals when it's lipsync it's ridiculous, that's why most idols use lipsync, because when you try going live people will jump at your throat, that's why Twice stopped doing music show live after all the hate they got and people are doing the same with these girls. Sorry to break your bubble but even with training most people will never be able to jump around and sing like in the studio, that's just how it is + you can see they were really enjoying the stage and hyping up the crowd like you're supposed to do.... I would take performance like this over any performance with too much backtracks where I'm barelly able to hear the live vocals. But well most people can't tell so sadly they better stick with lipsync

Am I crazy? They sound great here… used the backing track appropriately but can still clearly hear most of their vocals and chaewon and yunjin had strong adlibs at the end. Idk if y’all never been to live K-pop performances or what but there are some pitchy moments regardless of the group bc theyre doing insane intricate cardio heavy dances WHILE singing lol. That’s how it’s always been, idk why just now we’re going through this movement of expecting all groups to be 100% perfect 100% of the time. You’re feeding too into the perfectionism the industry tries to spoon feed… these are humans at the end of the day not robots.

Im being very rational. When a singer sounds so out of breath during the performance, I feel a passive tension hearing their voices, knowing that they might be struggling to keep up with the pace and stamina, and I don’t think that’s objectively enjoyable to me. I’m not even trying to slam any group, just generally speaking for any performances.

Blackpink really set a high standard for this. I don't mean to compare them, but if you've already watched Blackpink at Coachella, you'll realize that Le Sera is not ready for this. beside of they need vocal improvement, they also have to improve their stage presence 😢

Am I the only one that thinks this isn’t that bad? Was it good, no but I was expecting worse. The end was kinda bad because they were probably out of breath but other than that I think it was okay.
I think the audiences in that time enjoyed the performance but in the internet almost every comment criticism their vocal especially in the mr removed version

놀랍게도 저음도 기본기가 있어야 뱉는 건데 저음도 안 됨 ㅜㅋㅋ 그냥 소멸? 투명화가 맞는 듯..
There's (veeeery aggressive) noise filtering in the livestream that filtered out the sound of the wind and the crowd, but also unfortunately removed the REVERB, the low backtrack - and hear me out - certain frequencies of female vocals. This is why the fancams sound infinitely better than the livestream. It's a shame really, cause all of the circulating clips are from the livestream. That was NOT how they sounded at all in real life. Source: I work with audio

아니 악플 다는 사람들은 인신공격이라서 좀 선넘는 것 같았지만, 솔직히 르세라핌 실력이 아쉬운 건 사실임. 채원은 그나마 잘한다고 얘기가 많은데 보니까 못하는 건 아닌데 음역대가 안 맞아서 우렁차게만 하는 것 같았고 허윤진은 성악한 것 치고 고음 파트 떠넘기거나 키 많이 낮추는 게 듣기 편하다는 생각은 안 듦. 카즈하는 호흡 제대로 안 되고 음이 떨려서 안 들리고 목소리가 너무 작았음 사쿠라는 자기 파트 ar를 너무 많이 깔아서 혼자 너무 립싱크 느낌이 들었고 은채는 태도 지적 많이 받는데 그건 그거고 이건 이거라고 봄 은채는 아직 어리니까 못해 이런 건 솔직히 너무 변명인 게 다른 신입은 그럼 왜 잘하는 사람이 있냐 이거야 자만하지 말고 연습 많이 해서 성장했으면 좋겠다 르세라핌 노래 즐겨 듣고 잠시 좋아했던 사람으로서 케이팝을 알리기보다 화제성만 안 좋은 쪽으로 높이게 된 계기같다 심지어 그룹이 독기 컨셉인데 실력이 없는 건 말이 안된다고 생각함. 하이브 좀 정신차리고 연습 시키고 다음에는 제대로 내보내야 할듯 돈 벌 궁리해서 컴백하지 말고 완벽 컴백 기대한다.. 단지 내 의견일 뿐이고 악의가 있지 않음 단지 그저 피드백 나는 걍 인간이고 가수 아니라 노래 춤 못해 사실이야 어쩌라고 난 이게 직업이 아니야 태클 걸지 마셈

아니 라이브 위해서 안무 날리는건 퍼포먼스 느낌으로 괜찮음 근데 날렸으면 잘불러야지... 날려도 못부르는데 결국 지금 어차피 라이브 하는시대가 아니라 전부 라이브ar쓰니까 안무받을때도 결국 그냥 퍼포먼스만 보고 받는거임 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

The Coachella tickets cost around $500 and people don't just come for the stages; they expect much more from the experience. I went to Coachella last year and thoroughly enjoyed the stages even bought stickers to commemorate the event. The essence of an artist is not only to entertain but also to know what they're performing and to showcase their talent on such a grand stage. Yet some artists seem unprepared which is not a problem that can be simply overlooked; perhaps Korean fans understand the essence better.

I'm not their fan, but seriously most people can't even hear the difference between live vocals and lipsync but still came here to criticize it's so funny... Go watch any music show performance so many people in the comment are complementing the vocals when it's lipsync it's ridiculous, that's why most idols use lipsync, because when you try going live people will jump at your throat, that's why Twice stopped doing music show live after all the hate they got and people are doing the same with these girls. Sorry to break your bubble but even with training most people will never be able to jump around and sing like in the studio, that's just how it is + you can see they were really enjoying the stage and hyping up the crowd like you're supposed to do.... I would take performance like this over any performance with too much backtracks where I'm barelly able to hear the live vocals. But well most people can't tell so sadly they better stick with lipsync

i was expecting WORST but considering it's really live, their performance was OK, only yunjin and eunchae were out of breath most of the times, which is understandable. idk why everyone were all hate w/ this performance, i think it's fun to watch in person

Am I crazy? They sound great here… used the backing track appropriately but can still clearly hear most of their vocals and chaewon and yunjin had strong adlibs at the end. Idk if y’all never been to live K-pop performances or what but there are some pitchy moments regardless of the group bc theyre doing insane intricate cardio heavy dances WHILE singing lol. That’s how it’s always been, idk why just now we’re going through this movement of expecting all groups to be 100% perfect 100% of the time. You’re feeding too into the perfectionism the industry tries to spoon feed… these are humans at the end of the day not robots.

Im being very rational. When a singer sounds so out of breath during the performance, I feel a passive tension hearing their voices, knowing that they might be struggling to keep up with the pace and stamina, and I don’t think that’s objectively enjoyable to me. I’m not even trying to slam any group, just generally speaking for any performances.

Blackpink really set a high standard for this. I don't mean to compare them, but if you've already watched Blackpink at Coachella, you'll realize that Le Sera is not ready for this. beside of they need vocal improvement, they also have to improve their stage presence 😢
