The "Pretty Faces with Bad Vocals" tag definitely doesn't apply to BabyMonster, who had an awesome live no backing track performance. YG doesn't compromise on looks or talent. They are just incompetent at managing those artists once they become successful.

@@Sixderythat is the problem .... Nimixx is easily one of the best vocal groups in the industry Most of the members can easily be main or lead in another groups They can sing live while performing extremely difficult cheoro (Dash eg ) Yet they aren't as popular Which is sad Nimixx is talented

Well hopefully next time they will stop using auto tune for all of their songs. They need to learn from this kind of experiences. They had way too easy life as “singers”

I don't think auto tune in records is problem. After all, it can be an artistic choice. The problem is pre-recorded live performances.

Decent doesn’t cut it when performing in Coachella . .. Coachella is not a training ground but rather a showcase of established artists . . I’m sure that in a few years, La Serrafim will be great artists, but I put it on Coachella management and Hybe for putting these girls on a stage with the inexperience that they have and it definitely showed . . .

This is also the fault of fans because if kpopies will not support idols who can’t sing… kpopies jus superficial now. fans just like aegyo & looks. YG debut idols 1 group at a time. Hybe, don’t produce GG anymore. Lsfm “best” performance? It’s like Karaoke on stage 😂

again, about YG. If you watch blackpink coachella headliner, their lipysyncing is very obiovus and only at times can be heard live when they are shouting. you are just haters who cant even bother to check for facts.

@@Hdjdnddjdhzksks BP did use back track but it wasn't loud like Le Seraffim. You could hear and distinguish their voice from the back track. Unlike Le Seraffim, they weren't just shouting and they had good vocals unlike Le Seraffim which they showed in week 1. They could barely sing live. Critisism is valid.

actually they did better in week 1, it just so happened that theres back track in week 2. honestly, the hate is very stupid, some girls who performed at coachella literally only sang 30-40% of the time and even had times where they forgot to lipsync, meanwhile lesserafim served live raw vocals, including mic feed sound like.

I was sad and disappointed that Le Sserafim has to experience this. Their label and HYBE should have given them vocal lessons instead of focusing on Dancing. I hope that they would learn from it and focus on the things that should be improved. Constructive criticism is an honest review of pointing out what's lacking, so that it could be properly addressed and workout. However, some people are using this word not to address the problem but instead to bully in a lowkey way. I'm hoping that each members would watch their performance and evaluate their individual performance and ponder what's to work-on to improved themselves. If the company could not give them the help that they need, maybe it's about time that that should work it for themselves. If this is what they really wanted in a long run.

Definition Idol in asian Europe and US is like singer pro They must can singing well and more they can compose song or playing music instrument For lus value. For example American Idol competition or music competition like this in another country Definition Idol in Korean and japan is like group or solo dancer with vocal or rapper skill Except they can singing(just singing but not like singer with technician vocal well)and they must can dance well, but for playing music instrument, singing with technician vocal and compose song is plus value. Idol in Korean and japan they must have entertainment talent too like model, mc, acting and comedy for get profit plus. So thats why agency in korean and japan there have different idol standar for their agency profit or agency need So dont judge kpop idol bacause their vocal quality is not good because agency in there(korean, japan),have different standar and different need for their idol😒

What is up with HYBE when it comes to BTS they will press legal action but it seems like when it comes to their female idols they do the bare minimum. I’m starting to feel like they hold a double standard when it comes to the girl groups.

they show the honest performance on week 1 = hate they show what the last kpop performer also did on week 2 = hate so this is just purely "it should be my fav" salty kpop fans and bringing others down. the most important thing is they successfully bring the crowd and people who actually goes there love the performance even praised by the local.

  • @goddess_watching

Please focus on raising awareness of mental health issues and extraordinarly high suicide rates in South Korea, especially in the entertainment industry. You're talking about young women here who are burned out from practicing, having EDs from the unhealthy diets, stressed from online bullies and nervous to perform at the world's biggest festival. Who on earth would perform perfectly under these unhealthy and unacceptable circumstances? Instead of focusing on the details of hate comments, please focus on raising awareness of the need for mental health awareness in South Korea. As intriguing tea videos like these are, they're rather sensationalizing issues - rather than actually pointing out clear, practical call-to-actions to make the situation better. Tea videos just draw attention to issues, sensationalizing them, makes people gossip even more about these celebrities...without making any positive change at all. God forbid next week there will be another celebrity having taken their life, just because nothing changed.

Agree with the mental health part but don’t blame ED, their age or the excessive practice as a reason for them to perform badly. Every kpop gg group has to deal with those things too and they are not perfoming like that..

I understand your concern but you can't walk around eggshells when fundamentally, they lack the skills to be a professional vocalist, but are taking these big opportunities away from much more suitable performers. That live stage was the perfect example of how fans peddaling this delusional mindset that pre-recorded, edited vocals = amazing talented concert performers is dangerous. Clearly there is a serious disconnect from lipsync to live vocals. People paid good money, and alot of it, just to see them and that's what they got. It's disappointing. And clearly based off of their statements saying they gave the best stage possible, they are under the illusion that they don't need to practice more to earn their praise. They hide behind a "rookie" label when some of the members have very much debuted before and they spent the majority of their life training exactly for this and never improved. Which is plain wrong. Nobody here is attacking their personality or appearance. But they are singers by profession, the people paying for their service deserve to express when they fail to deliver.

@@ria_x_rose Are you one of those people who paid good money to be at Coachella? From videos of people actually attending their performance, everyone seems like theyre having a good time. Why did Le Sserafim trend positively after their performance if it's so mid then? Also, it's pretty ridiculous to say people paid all that money just for one artist. Obviously some people do, but most pay to see multiple. Le Sserafim definitely entertained and got people talking about the festival which is what they were hired for. Coachella is a business

@kennynguyen2970 you're joking right? I have definitely seen more people from the actual crowd post that they thought their performance was bad but they tried to enjoy it still cause atleast the back track was louder for the crowd vs the broadcast. I've also seen alot of people say they wouldn't have paid for their particular pass if it wasnt for LSF and they are disappointed and wasted their money. And they did not trend positively. Trending up just means more people are looking them up and the performance up and talking about how bad the performance was. Even knetz and kmedia are saying how embarrassed they are. It's not giving good promo to coachella at all. Everyone is just hating on the lineup even more than before now and people said they're not gonna attend anymore cause this just proved its not worth it. But you go off ig

My point yes idols have their shortcomings but SO MUCH attention has already been brought on the matter, how much more attention does it need. The focus should also be how toxic kpop has gotten with social media. Many idols have already expressed depression in dealing with the scrutiny. Constructive criticism loses its initial essence when the dead horse has been beaten ten times over.

"Constructive criticism loses its initial essence when the dead horse has been beaten ten times over." Maybe. But if you have legitimate constructive criticism and you do not improve, then you have to expect to hear it again. I used to get tired of hearing my mother tell me that my room was like a pig sty and I needed to clean it. She said it over and over. Until I cleaned my room. Then she stopped criticizing my room. As to "Idols" expressing depression over scrutiny, I would have to say that they chose that profession. They even refer to themselves as "idols." Not thin-skinned wallflowers that avoid scrutiny but Idols.
