Mamamo and Red Velvet have the best vocals among all the k-pop girl groups I also love Twice, in my opinion they sing really good ( I love Jeongyeon's voice). Maybe they're not " the best " when it comes to vocals, but their presence stage is quite perfect and their songs are actually so catchy that sometimes I wonder what kind of drugs did they put on it lol

Twice vocal line are actually really good, they are just underestimated due to having weak stamina but they have good singing techniques If you compare twice just sitting or standing they will really win Also Twice songs dont really showcase Nayeon and Jeongyeon's vocals since Nayeon is someone who does good on low notes but is forced to sing high and Jeongyeon doesn't get lines to showcase her voice, Jeongyeon does good on mid-high notes

I think people need to remember that being able to hit high notes and having a higher range doesn't make you a great singer, yes it is better but you also have to take in consideration the technical aspects...having a low rage doesn't mean you're a bad singer.

high vocals don't always mean that they're better, only a stable and a voice which isn't sounding weak and shaky is the perfect voice- which all of my girls have in here

For me Solar comes first in vocal technique and her high notes are cherry on top, Wendy and Seulgi obviously have amazing vocals and their technique also on point as always, Rosé is my for ever fav cz of her voice plus her vocals always makes me feel the song to the level that I can't even explain...These are my fav vocalist of third generation that will rule my heart for ever❤. Ohh yeah and my current fav Siyeon. She is the best 👌

When you can express emotions in your vocals and others can relate or feel those emotions, that means u r a good singer. Im not talking about the ones that cant sing but have emotional facial expressions lol

@@mowom6616 Good to hear, but that's not the ticket for you to point out that Siyeon is "one of the weakest main vocalists". Please respect her for how hard she has worked and improved. And if she was that weak as you mentioned, she will not be able to grab second place in V-1 survival show out of 12 incredible main vocal contestants. Anyway, she might not be the best in overall gg, but she really isn't as weak as you mentioned. Thank you.

i know siyeon is actually considered a weak vocalist since she strains a lot and doesnt support most of her notes, but i really am just in lovr with her voice- also i’ve really wanted to try asking her what technique she uses to sing, maybe then we’ll know where she’s going wrong and some vocally trained somnias can tell her on weverse or something

I’m so glad at least one of the MAMAMOO ladies were in this and am even more happy that it was one of the top five. Very deserved for such an amazing and vocally strong groups in the industry

What are the factors to rank their vocal like this? When we talk about vocal, we need to consider many things : vocal tech (including breath/support, agility, sense of pitch, placement, developed register etc.) , interpretation and singing style. But the last two tend to be subjective. So vocal techs are the only thing that can be used to rank vocalists. Even though I disagree with something like vocal rank or compare one vocalist with the other, but it would be good for those who want to learn singing (including me). I wouldnt say that the rank here is invalid or something, cause it's the owner of video preferences. But can I say something? I love Yuju a lot, she is my ultimate bias, but technically Wendy and Taeyeon still better.

@@eunice.7114 you are not dumb. But some people confuse between stability and techniques, it is not the same thing. You may enjoy their voices but objectively they have weak vocals and can't support. Siyeon has an unhealthy technique. Support are more important.

Yuju is a great vocalist but i think Solar, Taeyeon, and Luna should be the top 3.

Not to be rude but high notes aren't synonym with good technique. Also, at times, the vocalists of some groups are better than the main vocalists from other groups. Think snsd's vocal line. Sunny, Tiffany, and Seohyun, or Wheein from mamamoo are all lead vocalists and better in terms of a healthy singing technique than half of this list.

@@remberkd9585 but overall, Wheein is still the best among the three. Not a big gap, but she is slightly better than Solar and Hwasa. Hwasa seem the worst because of overusing chesty mix. Solar too, Wheein has the most balanced and less pushed mix, better lower register and more relaxed falsetto. But they are practically the same hahaa.

Imo Mamamoo and Dreamcatcher have the best vocalists. They have more than 1 member who could be a main vocal. Wendy and Taeyeon are really good too

Wendy and Taeyeon are definitely best here they should rank 1st and 2nd

Suhyun~Akmu in 31? 🤦🏻‍♀️, she should be in a higher position.
