You can set the pitch: hold shift key on your keyboard and use your seat/fov buttons. Similarly alt/ctrl combination allows you to adjust the mirrors view angle.

OMG, I knew there must be something like that.

Couple of things I’d add: 1. Turn off time progression if you’re just racing daytime. This saves a few frames. 2. Drop Post Processing to LOW. I think that’s for replays only. 3. Run GTE and only one of the other classes for a big FPS gain. 4. Dropping the settings to MEDIUM has little impact on the graphics, but gives you a HUGE gain in FPS. 5. Reflections and shadows are big FPS gobblers! Turn them down to Medium, even if you’re running everything else at HIGh and ULTRA. 6. Finally, and maybe most importantly, you should run at least 32Gb. When you reduce the number of cars visible, the sim still uses memory to simulate them. I’ve seen the memory consumption peak at 29Gb! More memory means more visible cars you can run on the track and…no more stuttering and freezing! Couple of things…lol 🙄

5:14 Coefficient seems to just be damping in my testing, resistance seems to bring more feeling of the car into the FFB. I don't know how else to put it really 6:25 In ~\Le Mans Ultimate\UserData\player\Setting.JSON at the line "Seat Pitch": allows you to change the pitch of the driving view or holding shift and pressing fov buttons

i was able to adjust pitch by holding shift then changing fov adjuster, maybe it will work for you

If you turn off the hud while driving that will also give extra fps. I just toggle it on when I need to see something and then turn it off again. Gives me around 20-25 fps more. I find it a bit strange.

How can I disable my engineering??? When I try to canceling my pitstop, my engineer makes direct a new pitstop call.

Are we all on different versions? I've not had any performance issues in the menus or on track. Consistent 120fps running at 65c with no visible stutters or frame drops. I guess it loads up slower than most, but if I'm in for an hour race I don't mind 90 second load times.

Try to reduce the audio samples to 64 or even 32. This worked in rf2 and helped a lot in the cpu department

Cooefficient is like damping highpass frequency filter. So 5% would only dampen the highest frequency wheel movement, and 90% would apply a damping resistance to the wheel even when it moved very slowly. Saturation is damping amount (raw vs damped signal mix) If saturation is 0%, cooefficient does nothing to ffb.

Also if you're wheel feels too light at low speed, pehaps turn the FFB strength up a bit rather than add damping. Too much damping will muddy the signal. Probably only need 5-10% damping on a sc2. If you already have damping in the sc2 profiler, then you want 0% in LMU.

Are you sure 35 is the correct fov value. If you use the modern fov calculator, you can add the 1000R of your 49 inch then ist should be arround 42-44

Yes, you are correct. I obiously used an older version of Modern FOV Calculator. The new one also has a check box for "curved screen". If I check that, the FOV for rf2 is 43°. If I leave it unchecked, it says 32°. Interesting ...

Apart from the values I show in the video, you should also toggle "Lock to Horizon" either on or off for a static view. Sry, am not at home and cannot check back.

I have plenty of pc power- downloaded on release day- have spent 10-12hours trying to play it and figure out why I cannot play it- had pc expert pilot my pc for 3 hours tonight and still no luck

Im wondering, could my integrated sound on the motherboard be causing the stuttering issues. Seems when the sound stutters ao do the cars on the track and ita impossible to drive. Do i need an external sound card is what im asking. I need help here

The one thing I've not had any issue with is performance when out on track. 4k, everything set to ultra 2xMSAA I've been comfortably over 100fps online. RTX 3090, Ryzen 5950X, 32GB.

I have an 7800 xt with an 58003xd also everything ultra MSAAx4 in 34inch ultra wide curved and onl got 60-65 FPS with Cars around me and 80-90 driving alone Same in rf2.acc AC and ams2 i have easily 144 FPS in ultra.i thought LMU and especially rf2 are less Hardware demaning.i Had an ryzen 5 2600 paired with the 7800xt and Had the Same FPS in rf2 and LMU but less FPS in ACC

Had the same issues when I click on Event, switching my Monitor resolution settings and then switching back , reducing my Hz from 165 to 100 and now it works, dont ask me why 😃

And you pay $35 usd now and when the game is in full access you get the whole game for the $35 you spent! If you wait till early access is over the game could cost $60-70 or more! For the $35 i was blown away it’s a million times better then KZread reviewers make it seem! Only game I’ve played for 3 days out of all the sim racing games I own. Runnning on I5-13400f Rtx 4070 16gb ram 43in Sony hdmi 2.1 120fps And getting 105-120fps and I have it limited to 120fps due to my tv tops at 120fps vrr And using Simagic alpha Simagic p1000 Simagic gt4 wheel

Both have their appeals. Driving is different, neither is realistic. LMU is perhaps more visceral and immersive. However, AMS2 has much more variety in almost every other aspect.

I tried to use MSI Afterburner/RIVA Tuner, but the game crashes every time I go on track when using it.

The UI is so laggy that I can’t even functionally navigate the menus or adjust settings - e.g. I can’t set up the game, so I’ve refunded it. So irritating to see all the KZread videos about it in my feed. Also it’s literally just a reskin of rf2.

I just have to say because I've seen a lot of it and it is baffling to me --buys game in early acces -game buggy and unfinished -*insert shocked pikachu representing half the player base* Like guys come on we all know the game has problems but its eraly acces, almost daily patches it will be better give them time, the only reason for the state of the game when it is beeing sold is the licensing contract that made them sell the game before feb 25 if that wasmt the case game would be again delayed

The game has serious memory leak issues, to improve performance simply enable single class of race cars. All settings can be left at max if you have a decent midrange PC, once only single class is selected, the game runs as smooth as butter, load times are shorter and there are no stutters. If multi class is selected, the RAM and VRAM are overflowing and the game FPS is halved due to swapping. If you have SWAP file disabled, it will outright crash. This is alpha software level bug and the devs shouldn't have released a paid game on Steam in this state. Refunded and downloaded pirated version.

The mathematical correct FOV always depends on screen size and how far you sit away from the screen.
