This is exactly what your LG washer sounds like if your Hall Sensor is gone bad. In most case it will also end with LE Error Code. The cause of the issue in my case was a super lite load, which resulted in washer being confused trying to balance the load. Eventually the hall could not decide so it kept going until the sensor went bad followed by fuse burn out. Now I know what not to do.
