Bangkok is a hotpot of culture which has diverse races, traditions, and flavors from all around the world. At the same time, the Vietnamese immigrant community has also brought to Thailand typical Vietnamese dishes which are popular and received the most love from Thai people during the period of living and integrating with the local culture.
However, Vietnamese food in Bangkok was localized to cater to Thai tastes. Accidentally, it led to some misconceptions of Vietnamese authentic cuisine.
Le Dalat Restaurant 3rd generation owner - Mr. Aphisak Micheal Assakul introduces the real Vietnamese tastes and unfolds the reasons why he still preserves the authentic Vietnamese flavors in such a mix-cultured city like Bangkok.
