I am so fucking impressed by the live blade they sent me so this video has made me incredibly interested to get a trainer to check out some day with how you talk about it

13:09 i can confirm, they are REALLY good at tech, maybe one of the best balis for the flipping style IMO, compared to a kraken, which is really consistent with everything, the orion makes tech more fun

The white splatter one is so sick.

I was lucky to catch the drop a few days ago on their website and it's arriving tomorrow. Super excited, it'll be my first bali if you don't include all the paper and popsicle stick ones I made throughout the years

I wonder, would you remember what time of week or month they dropped? Trying to catch the next one now since I don’t want a purple one. I can’t find any info anywhere

I love the live blade, i should get a trainer for kicks too. Mine was tight as a drum for 2 months of absolutely slamming it, then it developed tap, i loosened and re-tightened the pivots and its back to perfect.

I love my Orion love V1 i still want a 1.5 maybe I'll grab one at blade east.

100% epic bali, I can't explain it either! Buy an orion. It might be best bali period it's so fun and the sound is amazing.

Now that we got the review for the Orion I do want to ask if you have ever tried the WZM Cygnus Clone, because they are around the same price but I don’t know which would be better, but if you haven’t tried it no worries. You could also make the argument that I should spend the money on the real company instead of a clone and that’s fair. One more question, how is that Ryworx Ga clone I saw you have flipped, I’m curious because it’s a Balisong I didn’t expect to have a clone yet it does have one of my favorite Balisong designs.

@@DJEyelessPyroOk this is just an update, but I ended up getting the LDY Orion, and on the second day I dropped it and it ended up binding, but since it was glued with god knows how strong of loctite, I ended up stripping a lot of my screws, and the LDY Orion ain’t budging, I don’t know if you ever took apart your Orion but if you did, how did you bypass the loctite cuz there is no way that’s blue thread locker

@@DJEyelessPyro Dang, because I feel like I need to use the force of Hercules to open this thing up, idk how they made such tight screws jeez Lewis. And funnily enough I was able to get the bite handle unscrewed, but it was the safe handle which binded… god may have not chose to smite me, but chose to do this, ah well

Have u lubed it when u got it or never lubed it at all?

I think I oiled it once, not long after I got it

I want the original orion with the comb blade. Upset they didn’t make a comb for the (upgraded?) v1.5. 1.5 is a downgrade if it lost the ability to be a flippy comb. Ill only buy this once they make a comb bali again, otherwise doesn’t give me anything over the trainers and live blades I already have.

i will never get one... the moment they drop, they are sold out, and they never drop trainer 😥. dont even know when the next drop will be released and im scared that they just discontinue it like all of their stuff

They dropped like 2 days ago and still have some up. They usually have em for at least 2 days. Live blades at least. There is no way they'll discontinue them, it's too popular.
