It’s an old van, as it started out as an LDV van, and were a bit of a rust bucket… I hope the rust treatment has been greatly improved.

no the crap from china is far worse, the old UK made ldv maxus will still outlast this shit rot box.
One thing I find a bit puzzling about EV vans is why on earth do they continue to have such a high center of gravity. They really do need to be lower to the road; sort of like how Arrival are designing theirs. Certainly would be better for the inevitable repeated ingress/egress that is the daily routine of any van, not to mention, range.

Why does it look awful though? Every penny extra spent on an E-Transit is a penny well spent.

It looks awful because it was designed a heck of a long time ago when Leyland vans of old became LDV but it was such a failure LDV went bust then got bought by SIAC… it was the only van that I knew had a dashboard with the instruments (speedo etc) in the middle of the dashboard.
Amazon got rid of all these shit vans coss they could not do the job and lots got sold through british car auctions and now on ebay ect and just will not move...............AVOID.

I wonder the what the problem was with them. They do seem cheap. I think the newer maxus e deliver 9 must be a vast improvement.

I was driving one today and in rain and floods and it randomly shut off
