@@03chrisv One nice peck of a raven can cause lethal injurie to any bird. And ravens are much quicker in a fight with an eagle, as eagles are heavier than ravens, ravens weigh 2 kgs max and a big eagle will weigh anywhere from 5 - 9 kgs.

When birds fight to the death they always end up on the ground, the eagle has weight, size and strength on its side, the raven stands little chance. You're only considering when both birds are in the sky, if that were the case you can find videos of falcons and hawks chasing eagles away too and "winning", but we both know the eagle can kill either bird once they take it to the ground. You're not really thinking this through.

Did the Eagle move the nest somewhere else? The raven knows where it is located, it will be patrolling it to eat the eggs once they are there. Silly people think the raven is "bad" for doing so, but just as the Eagle hunts and kills other animals for food, the raven is doing the same, and it is also attacking one of its more powerful enemies.
