@@HypnoticHollywoodcowboy refers to Hollywood Westerns or singing cowboys, kinda like what John Wayne did with his movies or with Roy Roger’s Music. Western refers to Spaghetti Westerns with stars like Clint Eastwood, mainly with instrumental music like the scores made by Enrico Moran, or at least that how I think I spell his name.

Really wish there was more of this breed of music. This is the only one I’ve found so far.

@@CIintB3ASTW0oD I will admit I'm stretching the definition a little, like people do when lumping gaslamp fantasy in with steampunk. Essentially, cyberpunk is much like steampunk, dieselpunk, etc. The 'punk' aspect is rebelling against something, like tradition, authority, convention, etc, whilst the 'cyber' part means cybernetics, cyberspace, digital age technology and the general interconnection between people you get with the internet of things. So, technically? Your cyborg cowboy fighting aliens in the wild west with teched up tools and such, counts.

I didn’t even know if this genre existed but I was playing rdr2 and I was riding alone at night and was like “this feels lonely, it reminds me of metroid prime.” And then I was like “sci-fi western music!”
