You know, you could just give up on cultivating your mossiness and I'll just start shipping you a fresh batch monthly from coastal Washington. (As you may have noticed, we have LOTS. Turns out it grows best in the cold and dark. Who knew?)

Nice to see you back mate. Hope you are staying safe. All looking nice. Here we manually remove the moss all the time as it makes watering correctly harder. Only adding moss before showing the trees. Happy labor day! We celebrate our labor day May 1st. Take care.

Your benches are looking awesome Joel. Your collection has really grown. I’m looking forward to watching you work on them all. BTW. It seems everything Nigel touches stays green and grows. I experience the same problem growing moss here in SW Connecticut. Keep growing. Thanks

Yea I think Nigel could grow air Matt, & probably lush & green. Thanks as always, looking forward to doing more work on them.

You have a nice collection of trees and they all look happy and healthy. And collecting for bonsai and snook fishing does life get any better. And I live in Central Florida and can't get moss to grow

Glad to hear from you Andy, I’m bummed we couldn’t get by your place but the trip kinda took a last minute turn. My caretaker was the bomb!

Alder trees love much water. Infact they must never dry out. Spaghnum mos mixed in the bonsai soil is great for these trees.
