wow what a superb layout, i have built a viaduct like yours from the wills range, but what i done was add two wills stone sheets at the bottom of the piers which made it a much taller viaduct , and i am pleased with the result .
Fabulous job!!!!!!!!!!!!!😊

A lot of very skilful carpentry involved; but a good temporary location. Great design; will be very effective. Thanks for sharing.
It's very relaxing and useful format of video making - and a welcome sight to see someone else doing the hard work to make the magic happen. Very nicely done, keep up the good efforts!

Great to see! An immense amount of work and some great intermediate solutions to give you all round running.
Really great looking layout & utilisation of the space! Looking forward to seeing the progress! Have to admit as well, having lived in Norfolk for basically all my live, I've never heard of Parrs! I'll have to take a trip there next time I'm in Lowie!!

Thanks! Parrs is a great little shop, becoming more and more of model shop rather than just for track and rolling stock. Plenty of scenic items and materials now.

As one of my other hobbies is music I do love selecting the backing music for my videos.
yeah, this was showing not at least that railway modellers do need some kind of a loop not to loose interest. Thanks for the video and it makes me thinking how i might start, when i find the place. no loft or basement free or there at all with the flattop on my house. but someway it shall be kind of a circle to get trains which pile up next door running and not to loose mojo. Big thanks again and all the best for the future development, model and personal wise. albrecht

I'm still an advocate for small end to end layouts and diorama, but there's just something about watching trains run round with a pint that you can't beat
Well done. You’re definitely a high achiever.

Watched in full this morning 🌅 really like the layout, i think the attic is fine mate, plenty of people do it for it not too be that much a concern. Look forward to seeing your scenics on the other modules, very talented modeller. P.s. managed to get the clear PVA glue to do my river in the end 👍
@HorsehayRailwayModeller

Cheers, my only concern real concern was the temperature extremes but I'm sure all will be fine, as you say loads of people use attics and lofts. Nice one with the pva. I've used it in the past but struggled to get it to dry clear but sounds like you've managed okay.

I need to think about how to do my control panel soon, what will you be doing for that? DCC aren't you?
@HorsehayRailwayModeller

@@_RandomPea going to be building some panels using MERG electronics. But also going to try and do the branchline entirely with cobalt point Motors and cobalt lever switches
What a result David. I can see a lot of hardwork has gone into achieving your goal. I use 64 itre Really Useful Boxes for all my empty loco and rolling stock. Accurascale will not fit width way only using the length of the box. I also use tge sane box with the addition of mdf trays made by a Welsh company who's name fails me right now. What I like about these boxes is they stack really well.
@HorsehayRailwayModeller
Ай бұрын
I'll have to look into that. Boxes have never been a problem for me before as I've but never had enough stock but now I have boxes coming out of my ears!

@HorsehayRailwayModeller e-bay 124276919920 4x trays with 64 litre box. Or the same supplier lists build your own trays from a kit of parts and buy your own 64 litre boxes locally.
Nicely done, but can I ask where your street lights are from that we see around 2:40 ?

😅How have you strengthened the ceiling joists to take all the extra weight ?
@HorsehayRailwayModeller

I'm hoping all is fine as its an old house and we'll built. I counter battoned the extra floor for storage with 2x3 and the heavy scenic boards are mounted between the rafters and a very large beam. 👍
Hello. I am intrigued by your point setup. I was wondering if you could advise what points you used to create that? I've tried to recreate it on AnyRail but have failed so far.
