Hey i have a question: I have a bank of 150 EUR, I bet on Lay all (The Draw) with q=3.1 liability=105 EUR If I lose, the bank is 45 EUR (150-105=45 EUR). If I win, what goes to the bank: 155 EUR or 50 EUR?
If e.g. Chelsea are winning 2-0 and the odds for laying the draw is 100, and I put £1 on that would I make money when Chelsea wins?
Hi Caan.. When your lay betting dau a horse and the betfair gives the lay price and liabity price ther is a plus and minus box nexttoo the number can we make the odds less in our favour??? I not sure why its there.? Thanks

Because you can offer a price that is not currently available, thats what that's for!
Although I appreciate you're not a clairvoyant, any tips as regards the timing of lay bets.
What about the 2 extra columns beside the pink lay column?

They are future prices that are of less value - i.e. they are next in line to get a bet matched.
Does lay betting not seem high risk low reward?
so would i end up with £10 on top of my bet or would i just receive my £10 bet back?

You would get the £10 minus 2% commission the exchange charges. You would also get your liability returned to you. When you lay a bet the profit is always your stake minus 2% commission if your not on the 0% commission.

@@profit_rush what I am asking is in order to make my lay bet active and able to win me money on and exchange, a back bet by another person has to be against my bet. I don't know if I am clear now.
If the odds to win are 3.95 and the odds to lose are 4.1 then cant you bet on both sides and make a guaranteed profit?
