Benny and Bjorn's masterpiece, theatrical operatic musical 'Kristina fran Duvemala', music: Benny Andersson lyricist/playwright: Bjorn Ulvaes was stages all over Europe. The concert version was performed in Minnesota due to the Swedish emigrations. They actually performed the concert in Lindstrom, MN in a high school gym. Full orchestra and along with the four principle characters. Benny & Bjorn were in attendance. The concert was also performed at Minneapolis.

Willie Finn Thanks - I saw a programme on ABBA which featured a wooden cabin in the countryside with a grand piano where the songs I guess were conceived at the keyboard?

Hi, like Willie wrote this song is perfect for a church organ. Great cover. About the cabin, its on Viggsö one of the 24.000 islands of the Stockholm archipelago. They wrote most of there beggining songs until "The Album" during the summer. After that, they went on Barbados and the Bahamas ;o)

Willie Finn Don't forget the song's chorus. It's like you're in a church for it was sung by a chorale. So the chorus fits in tune of Church organ

Father Alexandrios after the wedding in Mamma Mia
I like the way he exit with a smile and the feeling "I just had to get that out of my system"
Sounds like Count Dracula's castle after watching the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest, and I love it!
Finally A worthy song to play at my funeral
This version would be perfectly at home in a Castlevania game.

ok i've decided that i'm not dying until i've played a church organ and blasted some of my favourite heart-pulling tunes, letting it echo throughout the bulding and vibrate against the stain glass, at least once. so badass
That smug smile at the end: he knows darn well he just ROCKED!
"You are the coolest person on the Internet" - totally seconded! ☺
When he pulls out the stop at 4:00 I was living. What a sound 😎

I love Benny Andersson and he is an awesome tunesmith. But no century (except the 18th) has had a Bach. He was the greatest single musical genius and artist in history and no one else even comes close. There is Bach and then there is everyone else.
this is what every human that heard abba needed
I’m about to go to church and play the organ and just scrolling for motivation for what to play as an outro (entirely my choice as long as the grandpas and grandmas don’t identify it as something immoral) and the first thing I came across is this, so... guess what the religious people are gonna be hearing after mass today

I don't know how I got here, but I'm sure glad I did.
I've seen most of your fantastic ABBA covers. I've never seen someone playing ABBA as you...You feel every note, every bar, every chord...Very passional...I imagine the emotion you feel when the powerful organ sound invades the atmosphere because you give us this emotion in return...I've never seen anything like this.
I love his proud smile at the end, it was truly beautiful
One day Benny Andersson will get the vast credit he deserves as a composer.
The Chorus IS based on a Lutheran hymn so this is not a huge strech..... Well done!!! And making a rhythm with the verse..... great polyphony!

If anyone needs an excuse to splash out on a new Hi-Fi with 500w sub bass, these ABBA organ renditions are it.
Now thats what should be played at Sunday mass. Beautiful.

One of the most intruiging instruments ever! Church organs give me chills all over the place!
I don't know why the Lord recommended this to me, but CLEARLY he wasn't jealous before we met, now every woman he sees is a potential threat, and he's posSESSIVE IT ISN'T NICE
As didactic polymath pointed out, it is based on an old Lutheran hymn-when the song came out, the chorus sounded very familiar! I grew up going to a Swedish Lutheran church in Minnesota.

We now turn to Hymn 453: Don’t Go Wasting All the Church Wine, Save All the Bread for Me
No one out there is doing it like Principal45
I hope they play this song at heaven
The chordal progression in the chorus (especially the final phrase) is so like a Bach chorale, this works perfectly!
aaaaaaaaaaaand he did it in ONE TAKE! #BRAVO!
You ever have music move you to tears? This did it for me. Its so well played. I'm impressed. Plus I love Abba so there is that. Please sir I want to hear some more.
If someone said that the intro (the same lines as the chorus) had been written by a great classical composer, I would believe.

Déjà les harmonies de lay all your love on me sont magnifiques....alors sur un orgue: waw!
Ok I definitely want this played at my funeral
Would anyone else want this song at their wedding or funeral
You’d certainly get more people in church like this!
i heard the son and immediately thought "this sounds like it could be played at a church". So thank you very much for actually doing it! :D It's very beautiful.
Thank you - this is truly God’s work
Now THAT is how to fill the churches again, Justin Welby....
the chorus sounds INCREDIBLE... especially the parts that literally involve the "lay your love on me" lyrics part. plug in some nice headphones, or a nice set of speakers with a good subwoofer... it genuinely doesn't get better than this. why bother for looking for joy in all these hard to reach places when you can just listen to this? and no one is having more fun than him.
This is what I call ART
I have to admit I was skeptical when I saw the KZread recommendation. My God, I stand corrected. Well played sr., well played!
Your expression is just magnificent. You are a master. I love your playing. Brilliant. Very gifted. Thankyou.
THIS MAN AND HIS ORGAN DESERVES MORE SUBSCRIBERS. I CANT WRAP MY HEAD AROUND THE FACT THAT HE HAS ONLY 9K
i want THIS played at my wedding

I don’t know how you do it Sweden. Such a small country but you turn out a head spinning amount of really good music. I started listening to ABBA as a teenager and continue to be amazed by more and more artists I continue to find. Listening to a lot of Petra Marklund and Garmarna lately. Love Jadudah, Nina Kinert, and Thastrom as well. Keep it coming Sweden, keep it coming!
Thanks to you my Lord, for to give us to ABBA
Please play this song on my funeral
As a vicar I approve of that very much. Well done!
And now please rise for our opening hymn.... Wait a minutes, this sounds like Rock and/or Roll.
Just wow! Can you come do this at my wedding? :D
that wholesome smile of accomplishment at the end purified my soul
i want this played at my wedding and funeral
i love it so freakin much! would smach the like button 10x more if iI could!
