There is no crime against crime of humanity but there is crime against person. If there is murdered, homecide then there is our penal code to punish those criminals. There is no crime against humanity in our revised penal code. How could you charge crimes against humanity when in our penal code there is no crimes against humanity.

Atty.Conti is a Manananggol Laban sa EJK and to be like that you need to overcome a greater fear and anxiety everyday in your life. Anybody who is a public defender is a hero and deserved to be admired and respected.

Karen, why would you not question the US and other big country why are they not a member of this ICC?

icc was established for its purpose, no cooperation would eventually topple the economy, and this will be a precedent to the future.

No need to join ICC. Our Lawyers and Judges here in our country are far more capable than those in the ICC bodies. And in fact, our Justice system are still working. Oppositions should have to wait and pray that one of them become the Philippine President someday.😂

WHY ATTORNEY? Was the final senate Resolution 546 of Meriam and concurred by Bobong Marcos already cancelled? The senate never ratified the unilateral act of DUTERTE to withdraw from ICC. So the final senate resolution of Meriam still exist and remains valid, until it is properly cancelled.

ang withdrawal po according sa abogada ay di kailangan ng concurrence of the senate, yon pong pag join ang may kailangan.

Kasi if PBBM (granting) wants to rejoin and if the senate concur, then i-adopt na lang ang SR 546? Thats what my question is all about. Anyway, no need to argue, we dont even know if PBBM wants to rejoin or not. Salamat po.

The executive has the final say, it's not the Senate resolution or house resolution. The resolutions made by the Senate and hor were just an expression of their desire.

Question Atty. I am just confused of how the 3 branches of government work. I know that they have separate powers. If the Supreme Court had said, Philippines is obliged to cooperate with ICC despite withdrawal. Is the government must follow the Supreme Court decision?

It’s just lip service. Judicial can say PH should cooperate. But ICC has no jurisdiction anymore. So they can day we should cooperate but ICC cannot do anything that has merit because they have no jurisdiction in the first place.

No need to join ICC...political lang yan ..

I like Atty. Conti. She is for the rule of law and justice. She also knows not to be too much of an extremist. I am not a lawyer but I tend to have a feel for what is right from wrong. Yes, it is the president's choice to cooperate with ICC or no.❤ .

Congratz Karen. if justice worked on the 2 former presidents. why wouid it will not work on pres. duterte. it is stll the same court that tried, our judicial system is 100 percent working

Im not persuaded with atty conti'$ legal reasonings about ICC. I believe atty HARRY ROQUI AND ATTY.TOPACIO

Maybe ICC just reinstate the membership because the withdrawal was not deliberated in the senate who initiated the membership in 2011 and was approved and signed by the president. Meaning the withdrawal during duterte's term was illegal and the Supreme Court should have been consulted for proper guidance in the withdrawal.
