How do you keep refinancing your variable rates? If rates are going up, wouldn't your new rate be at least comparable to the old one?

@@tylermichaelherron5635 By the time the rates had gone up, I'd paid off more of the loan, hence the lower new rate each time :)

Thank you so much for breaking this down! for being honest and real about your thought process. I'm a Dr and have been living with my loans for over a decade, just 'going along with it'. Having mom and dad pay for everything and then one day having to pay hundreds by myself, wasn't something I quickly grasped. And now years later there's more life responsibilities and so paying them is like a routine daily chore, not something to tackle. So I'm getting very inspired to change my way of thinking so I can finally be free of this debt. Thank you so much :)))
