Wait! I thought the movable circle can't have glued on designs on it, according to the tutorial for the Give It a Whirl.

Not sure what you mean - you can add images to it and those need to be glued. If you're referring to the background I put over it, it's layered right over the top (you just need to have that slit open for the mechanism to work).
