Both well versed in your fields of expertise. 13 years ago just before a C-Section a physician that was supposed to administer an injection in my spinaI cord asked another who I guessed was a senior, “ Where exactly do I inject again” and the other replied “Exactly where I showed you last time” 😳I was livid, wish I had addressed it right there and then. Everything worked out but my question to Lerato is, had something gone wrong, would I as a patient have had grounds to sue?( mistake vs negligence) Because she just wasn’t sure of what she was doing, a student perhaps 🤔

I think if anything had gone wrong, you would’ve been well within your rights to ask what went wrong and expect a plausible explanation... Bearing in mind though that interns get trained with real patients and I suppose she/he technically was working under supervision because they asked before acting... which isn’t necessarily wrong. From the Doc
