I was there a few weeks ago. This part of the valley is indeed magical. In Sonogno at the far end, however, on a rainy day it feels rather dark and foreboding.

Absolutely lovely place. I wonder though how the locals feel about tourists wandering between houses and through their backyards. Tourists money is important and I'm sure they want that but don't try to live there. I am sure there are a lot of barriers to that.
