Its a very pretty looking bike and nice to see it being used but a bit of clarity is needed on the chassis , the Frame was built by SAXON engineering, So its a SAXON frame.designed and built by Nigel Hill Motodd was a marketing name.... Phil Todd ran Motodd with Martin Routley and is a legend in Laverda circles but hes not an engineer I am not casting aspersions on a very well put together Saxon Laverda, which doesn't look like some of the lash ups I have seen ! Just pointing out its a Saxon Nigel should get a bit more recognition than he does.......

I agree that Saxon racing should have been more prominent in this interview. I always refer to these machines as a Saxon/Motodd - Nigel Hill of Saxon racing built all the frames. We (Motodd) were responsible for much of the bracketry and many other small and large refinements over several years. We also sourced, made and designed many of the accessories to make the bike into a very useable road machine incorporating so much of the original Laverda items to keep costs down. I am not an engineer - just an "all rounder" . Martin's bike is (IMHO) fantastic and it is a credit to his skills.
