We visited this place last summer, and it was an absolute bliss! Jody is very nice, and it was fun to see how she created a flower arrangement using flowers cut from the garden. Those lavender lattes, ice-cream and scones were delitious, and the place so peaceful, we didn't want to leave! This reminds me that we need to visit again this summer! Thank you for the video!

@@cherylpereira-hodges8961 Hi Cheryl, I take cuttings in early summer, before the flowers appear. Put them in well-drained compost having taken the lowest leaves off. I spray baking soda and water on the roses right after a rain and also on the soil around it which is where the black spot spires are.

I would love to visit this garden sometime. I do have many types of lavender. Hidcote, English, French, a white one and a yellow French one.

This is such a nice garden but the camera was moving and zooming in and out so fast. It’s hard to watch without feeling dizzy.

Enjoyed watching the garden. I have a couple of questions...my lavender is in full flower now; do I cut it and how much do I cut? It looks so pretty in the garden. I also want to plant some in the front garden strip; can I just take a cutting and how? Thanks.

Hi , I know you sent me a link to a u tube to take cuttings from the lavender...can't seem to find it. Can you please send me again? I also have another question . My friend is trying to give ma a cutting or make a graft of the jasmine.. Not the climbing, starry tiny flowers but the plant with the bigger ones that look like small roses. He hasnt succeeded but I so want that plant...memories of my grandpa and I. Can you please tell us how to do it. Will it survive in the garden outdoors here in Ontario?

I hope you can get a stabilizer for your camera. It's beautiful but extremely shaky. 😇

Sorry about that Jesse. Normally I use a tripod for my vids, but if I do more handheld footage, I'd better upgrade.

What kind of temperature range do you get where you live? I'm in Wisconsin and have debated about whether to leave Lavender outside over winter. We are about the middle of the State north to south and zone 4.

Hi Stan. We're a pretty solid zone 8 on the west coast. Munstead and Hidcote are marginal at zone 4 - but I wonder if a little shelter from cold winds would help?

Which is more effective propagating lavender in water or soil ?

Hi Ethan. I find it really easy in potting soil: kzread.info/dash/bejne/jKefq7elhdvIhZM.html And that way, there's no "transition" later from water to soil.

I love lavender reminds me of my grandmother, I had some but they turned black 😢

I think planting is best in early spring. It gives the young roots enough time to spread out before the heat and dryness of summer.
