Hello Omniel Thank you so much for trying out the Lavazza coffee and making a video about it! It's really cool to see my recommendation being put to the test, and I'm glad you enjoyed it. Keep up the great work on your channel!

Wow! $20 bucks is very reasonable for a 2lb. bag. The transition to the Niche and the close-up of the grinding of the beans that followed was super cool. The cappuccino looked so good! Fantastic video! We've been recovering from my work trip and Nat's been sick so I have some catching up to do, Lol! Thanks for sharing! ~ London

Thanks for sharing the new video with us this morning... I'm a bit surprised by your comments about this coffee, I would have thought you may not care for it based on the fact that you seem to prefer lighter roasts. Somewhat like yourself, I did not find that the Beanstock coffee lost anything as the beans aged. Have a great day, Kerry

Good morning Kerry. Definitely I prefer lighter roasted coffees, but when pulling shots to mix with milk I prefer darker roasts. There is a little place in my heart for all coffees. 😅🤗 Have a great day my friend.

Hey Jesse. Hopefully my new espresso machine. It's already out, but I wanted to get it from Espresso Outlet and Joe told me that he can't order the color one's right now, cause he needs to get rid of the stainless one's first. I might have to order it from somewhere else. 🤷‍♂️

@@downone16 Hello Israel. I had already spoken to Jesse about the Lelit Bianca. We both think is a great machine. I've been waiting for Joe from Espresso Outlet to receive the machine in White. I think it will fit in beautifully into my setup, and it has all the features I'm looking for. What do you think?

That is a very nice set up friend! I myself have the ECM Mechanika Slim V I love this machine, and for the coffees (mostly with milk) I make, it’s perfect. Can’t wait to see the unboxing video of your new machine (soon hopefully)

Hi Omniel, thanks for the great video. I have the same coffee right now and I'm trying to brew a good espresso with a Lelit Anna PL41TEM and Lelit Fred grinder... Could you share with us your brew pressure and temperature? I'd like to copy your recipe :D. Thanks man!

Hello and welcome Daniel. I never try making this coffee on my Lelit Bianca, and the pressure guage on my Breville was broken, so I couldn't tell you the pressure. As far as temperature, the Breville was set at the default temperature from factory. Now, that being said, I can tell you how I would go about brewing this coffee. Start with the temperature set around 90 celsius, and shoot for a timing of around 35 seconds at 9 bar. If you can add a short preinfusion of around 7 seconds or so, add that as well. I think that would be a good place to start, and then adjust to taste. Try that and let me know how it goes? After that, based on what you tell me about the flavor, maybe I can suggest how to adjust. Thank you for the comment my friend, and have a wonderful weekend. Get back to me, and let me know what happens.

Hello again Daniel. Looking back on my notes as to the Lavazza Rossa, I did brew it on the Bianca. However my only notes in regards to the settings, is the grind size that I needed for the Niche which was 11. Sorry buddy, start with my previous suggestions and let me know how it tastes. Thank you.

I wouldn't throw away an espresso made with such nice Lavazza beans (no cheap either) no matter how bad was the result😅😅. That Niche does a great job in regards to coffee ground retention.

Hi!, do you remeber what kind of filter you used in this video? its like 18g for 2 cup filter or 1 cup? Same for the machine, do you use one or two cups button? Thanks!.

Hello @Heatlink1 I always use the double shot unpressurized basket. Nowadays my dose is 18g and my yield is 45g. For most coffee's, the shot time will be somewhere between 30 and 45 seconds. I always do manual shots, by pressing and holding either shot button for a few seconds, and pressing the same button again once I reach my 45g yield. I hope this helps, and feel free to reach out if you need more help. Welcome to the channel, and thank you for the comment.

Hello friend, and welcome. The short answer is "NO". You need special bags to vacuum seal. You can portion out the beans into adequate types of bags, and then vacuum seal them. The bags for vacuum sealing are quite inexpensive, and available on Amazon. Thank you for the comment, and I hope this helps. Have a wonderful day.

@user-gf9og1cy5y Hello friend. You are correct, I thought that I had to cut this bag, but in fact, it did open with just pulling it apart. However, in my experience, I don't think you should try to vacuum seal this bag once it's opened. Thank you for your comment, and have a wonderful day.

Dude if you need sugar it’s not good. This coffee has a 10% Quaker and deformity rate, it’s horrible coffee. Guys who rate this lavazza Rossa as a palatable and decent coffee is lying to you or they have no taste worth trusting. Absolute rubbish.

Hello friend, and welcome to the comments. Wow, you have a very strong opinion about this coffee! It's unfortunate that not everyone can afford the best coffee the specialty world has to offer, so I try to review a little bit of everything. I thought that as regular store bought coffee, this was just fine for espresso, and the Moka Pot. I still stand by that review. Maybe it can't stand up to some of the $100+ per pound bags that I have reviewed, but it's perfectly fine for what it is. I would still drink this as espresso, or on the Moka Pot, and enjoy it. Now that being said, what are some of your favorites, and for what brewing method? Thank you for your comment, we love having you here. Oh, by the way, I have two Geishas on hand right now, and the review videos are coming soon. Again, thank you for the comment, and have a wonderful weekend.

@@OmnielCapotesorry it’s not about comparing against the best or most expensive. The Quaker rate is so high, and there are definitely supermarket shelf coffees that are in a similar price range but are full arabica and taste great. If you have to add sugar it isn’t very good. Geisha/gesha is a nice varietal but telling people that this Lavazza rossa tastes good is a poor show, either you aren’t critical about bad coffee and too nice, or that you don’t have a good palate. Sorry bud can’t polish a turd. Good luck going forward just don’t mislead people and say something is good when it isn’t. If you want to show people your espresso prep then make that the focus. All the best

@wesvonbiltong5550 Hello Wes. The only coffee I add sugar to, are milk based drinks. I add the suger regardless of the quality, or the taste of the coffee. It has nothing to do with the coffee, it's just my preference. What regular off the shelf coffee is your preference? Perhaps I can review that as well. Thank you for your comment I really appreciate it, and have a wonderful weekend.

@2usa5 I did as well. For the moka pot it was great. For espresso it was good, specially when making milk drinks. As pour-over it was lacking brightness and acidity, but for someone that doesn't like acidity in their pour-over's, than it could be acceptable. Thank you for watching, and for your comment. Have a wonderful day.
