this reminds me of my dad.. cz when I was getting married.. while this shabad was going on.. and I was performing my lavaan.. I was looking at my dad... that feeling of going to someone else's home forever and leaving my own family behind.. that feeling.. was so heart piercing. Now my dad is no more.. and I miss him so much..

U can.. even if u are not a sikh. But u ll have to see guru granth sahib as ur all father after that. Because he is only be the one who ll stand as evidence of ur sacred knot.

Gurbani is sweet. My father in law who was Sindhi Sikh and lawyer used to perform wedding ceremonies and he used to sing so nice with gusto. Looking back he was the best. He was excited and joyous when he sang. He would create excitement.
