My Fiji Islands

Avocado 🥑 in Fiji are called Pears for some odd reason. Doesn’t help at all when Fiji has a mixture of American English and classic English Language intertwined 😂😂

@@nomaderhowfar pears 🍐, maybe just look for avacado trees in the neighbourhood and ask them for some. Cause majority of fijians hardly eats them unless someone gets poorly 🤒😂 but Fijian avacado are lush and massive too compare to the ones we get here in Tesco’s lolz.

@@taleinz1 that’s your experience. Not mine. Majority of us always known Avacado as pears. Hence why the content creator was confused as to why he was asking for avacado and some people or vendors was confused as to what he meant.
