@@bellareid3488 and with only four albums to her name she is still better then most of the musical artists today...it would be really nice if she would release a new album but she probably doesn’t want too because she is still making money from her old albums and is still touring...I’m grateful she is still touring being with what she been through especially with going to prison and having a mental breakdown...

Absolutely beautiful, the problem is some of us refuse to embrace the authenticity of sound, music...no auto tune....the beauty of the talent

That voice is damaged though still has a nice sound but it's important to be healthy and properly trained your voice. Otherwise, it will get worse and could end someone's singing.

She’s an alto, plus she’s older, she’s not going to have the same range or the same voice, don’t judge her instrument. She’s an amazing musician and an amazing artist. She carries her life with her and it’s a different jewel, but a jewel still.

IF there was a problem with the performance it was the earpiece, she keeps going to her left ear piece, and at the end even takes it off for a moment. Regardless, BEAUTIFUL performance, gorgeous styling, just inspiring all over. What a legend.

@@amukunzi493 when you are a great singer and you have a loud band flowing sounds around you. Your earpieces are the only way you can hear yourself singing. It will throw most singers off.

If ya watch her communicate in a normal conversation within an interview if you can find one, you’ll see she’s in a pretty good headspace, her band is killin and if you’ve ever tried to perform with a group of that size and with backup singers and a horn section, a drummer blasting anything he wants, you’ll know that it’s very hard to pull that off in any kind of natural way. Also she’s not touring or doing tons of performances lately so I’d say this came off just about as great as it could have and I’m greatful to have seen in it and her band.

We are forever a fan of Ms. Lauryn Hill.

She does that touching ear thing everytime she's performing now, always the same ear. Just a habit of hers, not any hearing trouble.

Whenever Lauren sings live she does her own rendition of the song and speeds up the melodies and flow. It's just not the right tempo and speed to which she prefers and seems most comfortable to sing to💖

She couldn't hear herself right in her ear pieces. Look at the video again she keeps touching and pointing a lot at it during her performance. When singers do that, it means that they're having sound issues. The worse my thing is when a singer can't hear themselves over the band.

NO. THIS IS PART OF MS. HILL'S "MENTAL THING". SHE DOES THIS IN EVERY SHOW, EVERY PERFORMANCE. SHE NEVER "HEARS" HERSELF THE WAY SHE SOUNDS IN HER HEAD. I WAS AT A LIVE SHOW AND WATCHED ALL OF THIS. THE SOUND ENGINEERS WERE RUNNING AROUND TWEAKING EVERYTHING EVERY TIME SHE MADE THOSE GESTURES. HER MUSIC DIRECTOR WHO WAS WEARING A CAP THAT SAID, "OVER IT!" WENT AND WHISPERED SOMETHING TO THEM AND THEY STOPPED EVEN THOUGH SHE CONTINUED TO MAKE THE GESTURES THROUGHOUT THE REMAINDER OF THE SHOW. THE AUDIENCE HAD NO COMPLAINTS WITH THE SOUND. MS. HILL WAS MESMERIZING! #QUEEN! 💜🖤💜
