HEALTH WARNING: A rational take on the evidence given by the lady, would indicate, as in all humans, an emotional hook was required to change a failing situation. We should celebrate this lady finding her hook. That said, religion is just one of many hooks that can work for humans. As all things in human life, a balance is needed and those viewing must understand that religion, Christianity in this case, has damaged many many humans. So approach carefully if considering this your hook requirement, as it comes with a major health warning. Remember and never forget, living a healthy, peaceful, meaningful life is about balance. Many of those that seek a religion, for numerous reasons, have a character that does not naturally sit with a balanced lifestyle, but extreme, be it as evidenced here, from drugs to Christianity. If we look at data, it evidences religion and Christianity is in decline. This is for a very good reason, as religion causes conflict and does not provide balance. Point being made, if looking for salvation, there are other hooks that are available. Christianity can be as bad as drug taking if not maintaining a middle ground balance. Balance does not need a religion for humans to find and enable this.
