Is the fragrance oil natural & non toxic. Where can you buy it
Will this put oil spots on your clothing? Idolized salt or unionized salt? Is it safe for HE washers? Would you use less in an he washer?
I’m wondering if I can make this recipe and just add it into my diy laundry powder …
Did I miss it twice? How much per load would I add? Like this much better than Epsom, thanks! Sub'd.

Reiki Lynx Hello. It's a 1/4 cup per load. I put it in the description area along with the recipe. Have a blessed day!!
Do you think I could use baby oil ?
How much do u put in each liad

No I would think not. Massage oil has other oils (like coconut, olive oil, etc....) in it that may leave behind spots on your clothes.
where did you buy the fragrance oil?

There's a couple of different places that I use. www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com, www.thesage.com, www.scents4less.com. Just make sure what ever oil you use is skin safe. And each company will list a fact sheet that tells you at what levels they are safe.
You can buy the fragrance oil at mountain rose essential oils n herbs
Does the scent last after you dry in the item

You can order from Piping Rock they sell oils at a good price, and shipping is cheap. I use them in my soap making.
To make it easy, you should have shown which oil you used.

I didn't show the fragrance oil, because there are so many different varieties and companies who make them.

I personally would not. I think that it would crystallize.

Salt also helps to retain the color in your died clothes.
those essential oils are about $20 a 10 ml bottle on ebay that makes this diy very expensive yet you see people on here daying they cost a couple of dollars ?? so where are they getting their oils from I wonder ??

She is using "fragrance" oils, NOT essential oils. She said essential oils don't last long in the smelling effect. In the essential oil community, fragrance is the "F" word. Fragrance is usually filled with chemicals you don't want. All store bought laundry and dish detergents are filled with chemicals.

yvonneost12 The easiest and cheapest way is on Amazon, although there are some great essential oil companies, google them. Buy at least a 4 ounce bottle to make it worthwhile. Many of these are as low as $10-12 for 4 oz, but the bigger you go the greater the value of course.

With essential oils you can possibly find good deals online. I choose to buy from the store. It takes price comparison from store to store, but also I see the different oils fluctuate in price throughout the year. I think partly due to demand and volume, and etc.
might want to be sure ur table salt does NOT contain aluminum like most processed table salts. aluminum is soooo not good for u.
Anyone try this did it work?

AVOID!!!!
Table salt is a different composition than epsom salt. Table salt is also detrimental to the environment. It does damage all the way to the ocean.

So which is good for the mixture
AVOID THIS ONE!!! Epsom salt hardens water. It contains magnesium, a hard water contaminant. Table salt doesn’t soften water. It does nothing here except make the water salty. If it softened water there’d be no calcium in sea water, and hence, no shellfish. Baking soda doesn’t soften water. Add some baking soda to ammonia. See what you think of its odor eliminating ability. Sorry, way too many inexcusable errors for a short video. Sounds like you slept through chemistry class. Just a bunch of nonstop nonsense. Grade: F.

if this was the case then whole house water softeners would not function and would serve no purpose ... whole house water softeners are recharged with salt like once a year or so (until salt is expelled), this works because of ion exchange between salt and hard water, that's why it softens water ... you should really double-check your facts before you bash someone's video ...
