Laundry Basket Sorter (DIY)

This is a great diy project for a laundry hamper sorter. Laundry basket sorter for up to 9 baskets. This will organize your clothes to make laundry day easier!. I built this out of just 2 sheets 4’x8’ plywood and a couple 2x4’s. This basket rack holds 9 baskets. These can be built to hold as many or as few as you need. A 3 basket one for darks, whites and towels would be really nice. I stained this one Rustoleum Ebony and finished with a satin General Finishes clear coat.

A smaller version of this has been on my project list for awhile now. Your's is huge! But great. I especially like how you added the boards on the roof.

Love the build but what's with the unstained square on the end of the plywood?
I love it. Do you sell them?
How much does this weigh roughly? Is it fairly easy to move?

I am currently building something like this. The issue that I am running into is how to make the rails for the baskets adjustable. Any ideas on that one bud?

I think I would drill shelf pin holes and let the rails sit on shelf pins.
What are the measurements for all the pieces

Measurements are discussed in the video but are based specifically around the basket. So different sized baskets would need to alter the measurements.

The only measurements I heard were top and bottom are 57 and 3/4 long and 28 and 1/2 deep. What are the measurements of the sides and interior boards? I know the width is 28 & 1/2. Was this ever answered?

I built them to fit the baskets. So depending on the baskets, the measurements would change.

Endea and Jaylon the customer bought the baskets so keep that in mind for your pricing, but I have approximately $175 in material in this build.
