Not your average first week at a new job! We test out our 1000+ HP STI to make sure it is ready to go to the strip, and simultaneously give Foster a fun ride on one of his first days at the office.

Damn, grats Foster. This is the kind of content i like. Installong car parts is one thing, but learning more about engines and techbological mindsets, thats what i enjoy. Hurry and get acclimated and kers do a collab on the FA24 closed deck project. I know Graham does some live streams with IAG. Id like to get my hands in on that.

Oh wow I thought this was a joke when you said "Hi its my first day!!" Was listening/watching while multitasking and didn't realize Foster was talking about his first day... at a different car company! (Thought I was still on Subispeed's channel). Absolutely love your videos, Foster! Some of the best WRX content out there and definitely one of my favorites to watch for installation tips. Love what you plan on doing, that is super cool for us engineering / car nerds

Is it true that EPA said ya'll can't install parts anymore? Or well they are trying to make you stop. I heard that from a shop that EPA forced to shut down.

We actually closed our service and install shop about 2 years ago to focus all of our resources, talent and space on manufacturing, fabricating and engine building. The decision wasn't influenced or forced by any agency and we continue to work closely with local IAG dealers so that our customers can still purchase our parts and have them installed!

I'm not understanding something... How is it that the engine test on the test bench is showing 100 psi of oil pressure for 500 hp, and on James' car on the dyno, it's 74 psi for 1000 hp? To my knowledge, oil pressure should increase with higher horsepower! What oil pump are they using?
