@@classyjohn1923 it's songwriting structure, for example ; verse, chorus, verse, chorus, bridge, verse ,chorus..etc . A well written bridge shows introspection and emotional intelligence . An astute crescendo of reflection that comments on the narrative that puts the listener in an a short editorial, sometimes followed by a guitar solo to emphasize the height of emotion going back to the verse..

not really. (not to diminish laufey) but the piano is very tactile - when you get used to it you can pretty much find anything on the keys with your eyes close, especially when she's just playing chords that are all very close and connected to each other. but the singing is very impressive.

Every time I hear it live I get emotional from the raw vocals and the emotion she throws in the end.

The BEST ARTIST I’ve discovered 😭 Laufey is very talented ✨ She can play various instruments, can write, produce, is classically-trained, has a great voice ❤️ And above all, everything she puts out feels so genuine and relatable. So happy that she had gotten so big. Her debut album “Everything I Know About Love” has been and will always be one of my favorite albums. 🤧

Scary how relatable this song is- an older man I once loved made me feel like a goddess until it all crashed down once I found out he never cared for me. Thank you, Laufey for making me feel heard.
