Latvian Gāzmaska B

🇱🇻 Latvian Nacionālie Bruņotie Spēki Gāzmaska B dated 1941, created by Valst-Elektrotechniskā Fabrika (Latvian: State-Electrical Factory) in Riga, Latvia.
The Gāzmaska B was the last military gas mask created by Latvia. This mask attempted to replace the Gāzmaska A, yet never fully replaced it much like how the German GM-38 never fully replaced the GM-30.
This mask was found in a barn in Riga Latvia, it is in absolute dreadful condition and the half destroyed flutter valve you see here is actually supposed to be orange, the head harness is ripped to shreds.
The filter that would go to this mask is quite similar to the standard FE37 Riga clone that is seen here on the last few photos, yet the actual filter that would be issued with this would be a smoother example with a wraparound sticker which would indicate the year, manufacturer, and lot number.
One stamp you can see inside the mask is part of a Kvadrats factory stamp, which is the factory that manufactured the facepiece. It was then sent to the VEF factory to be fully assembled.
Only a few examples of the Gāzmaska B exist today, one is in the hands of the VEF history museum in Latvia, one is in the collection of popo_fireman (don't know his actual name), one used to be in the collection of Johannes Möller (went to Marek Kulig), one in the collection of Gas mask king, one with Tarohanrahan, and I own this piece, not sure if any other examples exist in the collecting community.
