No but I don’t go to coffee shops. My name is spelled wrong on the mail all the time! I had to spell my name for everybody, most of the time! A lot of people don’t know how to spell Geraldine or Bingham. Then, when I was Ekhator , it was even worse! I would have to pronounce it for them as well!

I should give credit to all the actors that did such a great job portraying the story. They set up the plot line and drew us all in. And these were actors that I am not familiar with. They did a marvelous job. The scene after things were seemingly resolved in disappointment with the policeman and the hispanic woman turned out to be a key scene and it was well done. What was awesome and the clincher to me is that you brought in Filip Walcerz after your actors had loaded up the bases. He then came in and you let him deliver the grand slam and he hit it out of the park. I still believe he can carry his own anthology TV show with his acting. He can play any role. Thank you for casting him in this key role and he really delivered the game for you. Keep the Faith.

Simply misspelling a name on a coffee cup is NOT racist. My name Ceri is pronounced like Carrie or Kerry and these are the spellings I always get. What’s racist here is that the employee put “beaner” on a Hispanic girls cup. I hate it that racism still exists today.

Am I the only one here with the opinion, that the customer escalated the conflict completely unnecessarily? BTW, she was delaying other customers. I was very uncomfortable with her behavior. Unnecessary drama, nothing should be overdone. Many things can be taken with grace.

It is common to have customers' name on their coffee misspelled, and the barista's apology didn't sound too genuine, so she and the manager had it coming. Also, anyone notice that Filip's role is usually always the boss or owner of a place? lol

Great video I have seen reports of people writing slurs on coffee cups and all she wanted was an apology and yet they gave her a fake apology then tried to extort her and I do like how that cop new that They were in the wrong but there was nothing he can do but she posted the photo of her cup and everyone used the name "Beaner" in protest brilliant I love a good nonviolent protest Justice doesn't always need a man with a badge or a man with a gavel sometimes one person makes all the difference

You could learn whether someone has been deliberately insulting someone or just an accident by just simple asking for an apology for his/her act. It is that simple. Just because you believe you are under protection of your working environment doesn't mean you can easily get away with your hated crime toward the same being as you.

Very nice video discouraging racism and with a moral that every person deserves respect no matter which country he belongs or what race of his is.

The other day somebody in Starbucks wrote my name as "Akshaya" instead of "Akshay", I didn't go asking for an apology, c'mon it's just stupid spelling mistake, even though it entirely changed my gender 😂😂 The next thing I did was, just enjoyed my Coffee and went off.. 😂😂

I agree. It was wrong for the employee to put beaner on the Mexican girls cup but then she acted like a total Karen. Holding up the line? Demanding an apology? I think I would have just spoken privately to the manager or ignored it and taken my business elsewhere.

In this video, both the barista and the latin customer are equally responsible for the mess caused in the end. I have a very complicated surname & totally understand if other persons from different culture found it hard to spell it. My last name is Jordão which spells "Jor-dawn". So to avoid confusion I often provide my nickname Deddyson or simply "Eddy". At some counters, some even mispell with "Eddi" or "Eddie". I Never hold grudges towards the servers because I totally understand how busy they were to serve their clients & rather gave attention to this sort of errors. On the other hand, the employee shouldn't mistreat her as an immigrant who dont deserve a decent apology. If an apology is what the customer really want, I'd give it to her and move on cos other customers also had the rights to be served...

Excellent video that cuts both ways. But walking into a retail establishment just browsing or having trouble using their particular e-payment system as POC too often triggers an assumption of criminal intent by the retail staff. Cops being called for simply looking at merchandise in the store or simply forgetting your credit or debit card expired. Can be bad news for you. Shouldn't be that way but you do have make sure you carry photo ID and Never leave a store without a receipt.

While the barista's racist behavior was disgusting, the customer wasn't much better. She doesn't have the right to block the queue and deny service to other customers. And she was out of line pushing the woman and breaking her phone.
