This song is actually one of my favorite Lenten songs I listen to during Holy Week. I agree with you both, Lea sang it perfectly.

"Via Dolorosa" the song was originally sung by Sandi Patty. She is not Catholic. This chapel is the West Point Cadet Chapel (Protestant). As a Catholic myself, I have not heard of this version/ arrangement among traditional Catholic songs. What I'm trying to say is, this is a song that reaches well BEYOND faith affiliations. 🙂

Philippines has been colonized by Spain for almost 300years and left a remarkable imprints in our culture and language and to some, genes. Spanish language was even taught as a mandatory subject at school for awhile until about 70s-80s thus a big percentage of filipinos can speak or understand at least, specially the older generations.
