The overall video was good...the information, slides, explaining, story telling style etc...are good things but I reckon it could be more understandable if you could shown the maps while You mentioning the particular region, country or other things such as you’ve shown the map of Mayan territory but you didn’t shown the map where it existed now...where it situated now....also you can add some pictures of the subjects, objects and other things like you could show the pictures of pyramids build by the Mayan also I like your story telling style but some time it turn into NUKKAD gossips & after some time you reckoned it yourself...! It’s not suit for some such excellent ones. I don’t want to blame you I want you to improve...we all do...we learn from each other....looking forward for it...!

The Inca Empire was the last chapter of Andean civilisation untouched by European colonists and as such not much is known. However, all that is known from my gathering of data here is the history of the Inca civilisation. The Inca peoples were a tribe dedicated to the growth of livestock in the region of Cusco (see fig. 1) Fig. 1 The Cusco Region with modern borders imposed. Manco Cápac, the founder of the Inca, formed the city-state monarchy the Kingdom of Cusco but was mostly confined to that area until in 1438 Pachacuti I. Yupanqui conquered the Chanka tribe. Yupanqui was then made king. Pachacuti reorganised the kingdom of Cusco into the Tahuantinsuyu, which consisted of a central government with the Inca at its head and four provincial governments. Pachacuti is also thought to have built Machu Picchu. Pachacuti sent spies to regions he wanted in his empire and they brought to him reports on political organisation, military strength and wealth. He then sent messages to their leaders extolling the benefits of joining his empire, offering them presents of luxury goods such as high-quality textiles and promising that they would be materially richer than his subjects. Most accepted the rule of the Inca as a fact and acquiesced peacefully. Refusal to accept Inca rule resulted in military conquest. Following the conquest, the local rulers were executed. The ruler's children were brought to Cusco to learn about Inca administration systems, then return to rule their native lands. This allowed the Inca to indoctrinate them into the Inca nobility and, with luck, marry their daughters into families at various corners of the empire. Puchacuti died in 1471, but even before that in 1463 his son Topa I. Yupanqui to control the entirety of the Andes Mountain. His main success was the conquering of the Chimor, their largest rival of the Peruvian coast. It is then when the Kingdom of Cusco was renamed officially the Inca Empire. Fig 2. The Kingdom of Cusco at its largest extent In the late 15th century, advancements halted completely at the Battle of the Maule when the Mapuche had halted their crossing of the River Maule. It then got stopped even more when in 1517 the Shuar people stop the push into the Amazon basin. Spanish conquistadors led by Francisco Pizarro and his brothers explored south from what is today Panama, reaching Inca territory by 1526. It was clear that they had reached a wealthy land with prospects of a great treasure, and after another expedition in 1529 Pizarro travelled to Spain and received royal approval to conquer the region and be its viceroy. This approval was received as detailed in the following quote: "In July 1529 the queen of Spain signed a charter allowing Pizarro to conquer the Incas. Pizarro was named governor and captain of all conquests in Peru, or New Castile, as the Spanish now called the land." [28] When they returned to Peru in 1532, a war of succession between the sons of Sapa Inca Huayna Capac, Huáscar and Atahualpa, and unrest among newly conquered territories weakened the empire. Perhaps more importantly, smallpox, influenza, typhus and measles had spread from Central America. The forces led by Pizarro consisted of 168 men, one cannon, and 27 horses. Conquistadors ported lances, arquebuses, steel armour and long swords. In contrast, the Inca used weapons made out of wood, stone, copper and bronze, putting them at a significant technological disadvantage. In addition, due to the absence of horses in the Americas, the Inca did not develop tactics to fight cavalry. The first engagement between the Inca and the Spanish was the Battle of Puná, on the Pacific Coast; Pizarro then founded the city of Piurain in July 1532. Hernando de Soto was sent inland to explore the interior and returned with an invitation to meet the Inca, Atahualpa, who had defeated his brother in the civil war and was resting at Cajamarca with his army of 80,000 troops, that was at the moment armed only with hunting tools (knives and lassos for hunting llamas). Pizarro and some of his men, most notably a friar named Vincente de Valverde, met with the Inca, who had brought only a small retinue. The Inca offered them ceremonial chichain a golden cup, which the Spanish rejected. The Spanish interpreter, Friar Vincente, read the "Requerimiento" that demanded that he and his empire accept the rule of King Charles I of Spain and convert to Christianity. Atahualpa dismissed the message and asked them to leave. After this, the Spanish began their attack against the Inca, captured Atahualpa as a hostage, and forced the Inca to collaborate. \

According to the Mayans, the world was born on August 11, 3114 B.C. and that’s where their calendar begins too! 2. Still Alive Mayans did not disappear according to popular belief. Instead, many of the Mayans descendants live in America. 3. Literate Mayans were literate and had developed their own alphabets and even books. 4. Hieroglyphics The Maya system of hieroglyphics is the most difficult one, according to historians, so much so that not much could be found about decoding it until the 1950s. 5. Nil The ancient Maya Civilization were the first one to use the number zero. 6. This is Where the Tattoo Came From Both men and women were enthusiastic about tattoos on their body. It is believed that they were probably the ones to develop the concept of “tattooing”. 7. Engineers by Birth The people of Maya were incredible engineers, constructing amazing Pyramids and temples that are similar to the ones in Egypt. The peak of La Danta-one of the world’s largest pyramids. 8. Astronomy Civilization was great at astronomy. They believed the stars, moon, and sun are the gods who are moving in the sky. They were aware of the celestial happenings like equinox, solstice and eclipse which were also marked in their calendar. 9. Sportsmen Sponsored The people were good in sports too. They played a game called Ōllamaliztli in Nahuatl which is similar to modern football. The objective of the game was to strike the ball to a hoop using any part of the body other than hands. 10. Zumpul-che Wondering what that word even means? Well, “sauna”. The people, especially a woman after her delivery, used the sauna. The kings or lords used it frequently too because it was relaxing. It was made up of stones. (Flintstones, anyone?) 11. the Last Kingdom The island city of Tayasal is considered the last independent Mayan Kingdom and it existed until 1696.
