Great additions to the Workshop Neil. The little chapter ring on the rotary table is a flash of genius. Best wishes, Dean.

Chapter ring! That description was beyond my ability at the time. One shot wonder I am, what I record is what you get. As in comes out, that's how you see it! Yes, an interesting idea but I must make a ring roller first because I don't have one. Again, a project creates another one. At this moment we make things that make things we want. Soon,,,,,, we will be making things to allow us to make things to make things that we need! I love engineering, but it's getting more like politics . Back to the hacksaw and file and a big f#ck off hammer😁😁😁 Cheers Nell

Thanks Neil! I like your modification to the small rotary table, and of course will be watching your version of the endmill sharpening jig on that very interesting grinder. Cheers

thanks Jim! really sorry i didn't show your sticker in this video. I just got barked at for not being ready for dinner so was in the dog house, again🙄 That rotary table mod makes life so much easier and don't understand why its not a standard feature. You look after yourself and see you soon. Best regards Neil

eyup neil great addition to the lathe, when i'm at a loose end i will!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the shout, and good luck with the grinding rest. I watch with interest. As for the rotary table, i have a similar problem. my trouble is time, when i'm making projects i havn't always time to improve my tooling, took me 10 years to improve the grinding rest, so on that basis should get the lathe chuck stop and rotary table done by the time i'm 100!!!🤣🤣🤣 see you next time Kev

Hi Kev! As by bio states, I'm lazy😊. Well I'm not but life is hard enough on times so doing something that makes it easier is always a bonus. Saying that, rolling a ring for the table is easy if you have the tool to do it, I dont so another project is needed to do the project. Bugger! Cheers Neil

Hello Neil, Two very interesting project... I have purchased some parts to do my variation on your diamond lapping setup... Not sure when I will get to it but have 75% of the parts in readiness... Take care. Paul,,

Paul, you have all the time in the world, why rush? It only comes into its own when you start blunting cutting tools on a regular basis. You, like me are still evolving our workshops. I just destroy tools quicker than you 😁 Thank for watching, Cheers Neil

Good work. I have a couple of books by the same author with various gizmos including advanced and simplified tool grinding rests I am planning on making.
