Yeah I liked Flaherty, but he had 1 good game with us. It seems he's doing good this season but I don't think they should bring him back.

The post-game Seattle people are looking at holding the Orioles to two runs as a moral victory. The schadenfreude is real!!!

Kyle Bradish Tommy John surgery situation really hurt. Cole Irvin has not looked good in his last 3 outings. A starter and maybe even a reliever are very possible for the O's. Go Birds!

Seattle needs bats and the O's need a quality Starter! Gibert would be a great addition to the O's rotation. A Santander with Norby for Gilbert trade would be win wn for both.

@@larprs Agreed. Santander is too important to that lineup. He and Mountcastle are why teams can't just pitch around Henderson and Rutschman. They might consider Kjerstad and Norby for Gilbert or something like that though. They have so much talent in the pipeline I am sure they will find a trade partner.

Rodríguez Bullpen is Bautista, Helsley, Kimbrel, Cano, Perez, Suarez, Akin, Coulombe unless they get Finnegan or Scott then they either wouldn’t sign Kimbrel, but if they did then you can replace Suarez with Finnegan or Akin with Scott. That 5-man rotation would be the best in baseball, certainly the American League, Bautista is notorious for 6 out saves, so if the starter gets you 6 then it’s Helsley-Bautista 7-8-9 with the highest scoring offense in baseball, despite the majority of the lineup being in their first to third major league season. Big money says they win 3 of the next 5 World Series, and win the AL pennant all 5 of those years.

@DannieArre-br4ns O's won't resign kimbrel or Santander. I like Skubal and Crochet, but they both have the same issues, making it to Post and being effective. Not being worn out. Let's see who pops up in the next 3 weeks. I'd prefer a Santander w/Norby trade for Gilbert.

I guarantee that Kwan beat out Santander for the last outfield spot because Orioles fans didn’t realize that they could vote for just Santander and no other outfielders and leave the slot blank so they voted for Anthony and Kwan because orioles fans aren’t voting for Soto under any circumstance and I think the type of people Orioles fans are, usually blue collar Cal Ripken type people, leads to them voting for Kwan over Tucker. I bet that we inadvertently put Kwan in the ASG and knocked our guy Santander out of the ASG. Which stinks because Anthony deserved that starting spot so much it’s not even funny. People don’t know about the things he does that don’t show up on the score cards. How many games he’s come up with the big game tying-go head/winning hits, and how much he means to the momentum of this team and our offense. Even with guys like Gunnar and Adley, you can easily make a case for Tony being the most valuable Oriole in the lineup every night. Oh, and, to be in that lineup he plays RF, 1B and DH, and he’s made numerous game-saving and game-winning defensive plays. I’m really sour about this, Anthony should have won without question. Stupid New York and their mainstream media advantages. So frustrating.
