On your own you could seek out several of these financial advisors, make sure the one you settle on is a fiduciary and not a fake. Know what you're getting out of it and see if your targets can be met.

Now I get the corporate & product difference between S and GS. It sounds like the same craftsmanship difference between Lexus models and the limited Lexus LFA, made by the very best craftsman in a separate plant. I bought a GS version. It was one of the the greatest moments of my life as I saved 10 years to buy that watch. I flew from Amsterdam to London and took a coffee after 3 hours went back. Now I can do a little research and hopefully find out what what she is worth.

Hi Kevin, love your content, and your consistent uploads are much appreciated. Your recent videos are at 1080p and I wanted to suggest to consistently filming at 4K. 4K became more accessible nowadays and also for filming a standard. It would help us appreciate the timepieces more. Keep up the good work.

Grand Seiko is certainly distinctive with their eye-catching, intriguing highly finished craftsmanship and designs and movements. In my opinion, they represent real value when compared to the standard Swiss brands.

Bought an SLGH013 on a recent trip to Japan. Couldn't be happier. The dial is a work of art

I just watched something with price points I would never buy but it was interesting. Good job, Joe! Very apropos that Mr. O'Leary has an ad - on his own channel, LOL - for watch insurance. I like Kevin and maybe he has a good plan for reducing the US Debt. As for Grand Seiko, I totally admire the craftsmanship. Spring Drive, non-precious metals, distinctive and classic face, - that would be my choice.

I'm really getting into GS. Awesome quality and very unique without any of the games that other ADs play.

GS has been crushing it with their dials and world class movements.

Went shopping for the Spring Drive Chronograph SBGC275 and this would be my first big boy watch purchase. Really spectacular. I shop 5 hours after this video drops and it is already sold out.

I love how he has made a special watch band a part of his personal brand. I did this with a series of watches made by Nixon a long time ago when they started making "The Rocker" with multi piece fat leather bands. Mixed and matched until I had my own 100% unique band that nobody else had. It was a HUGE conversational piece amongst my peers at the time. FUN STUFF!

Thank you for this video. Now, I totally understand the difference between Seiko and Grand Seiko. Similar names but very different details between these brands. Love the diamond shaped cases on some of these Grand Seiko models as this really helps to differentiate their brand design (aside from amazing dials and also insanely accurate movements). These releases are mind blowing. Wonderful video!

Kevin, I finally pulled the trigger on my first Grand Seiko Spring Drive. And I picked up a mint condition SBGM245. I could have purchased these sooner but the stock market has been going absolutely bonkers thanks to the fact that we no longer have an unhinged maniac in the White House wanting to tax all Chinese imports 60%, all imported goods 10% and other nonsensical trade war lunacy. Even my 401 is up more in the last two years than any year of earned income since Bush Jr. Oh and even my trading portfolio is up massivey since last January with the staggering boom in the technology infrastructure overhaul for the inevitable AI revolution. There's nothing better than enjoying a fine Japanese movement in my "colleczione" and knowing lunatics who run fraudulent companies are now convicted felons. Good thing none of the sharks like Mark Cuban run their businesses like common criminals. That's bad for certainty in the markets and overall prosperity Kevin. Another smashing employment number from the BLS to boot. America is on top.

I was waiting to hear micro adjust clasp 🤷‍♂️ I own 3 GS that I love but I still refuse to buy anymore until they introduce a micro adjustment on the bracelets. At least on the sports models put a tool less micro adjust on the clasp.

there is no occation or place to wear a skeletonized watch other than showing off. no matter how beautifully its made, and showing off is just not some people's cup of tea. those watches with dials however are mouth watering.

Grand Seiko needs a special line designed by Swiss designers. Would be nice collaboration. Accuracy meets Elegence.

I am a huge fan of Seiko, and GS. Have a number of 9f movements. Outstanding accuracy! Have a few spring drives. The sbga413, and 429 both run at plus .5 sec a day. Have an older sbga111 that runs at 0. Amazing watches. Then we have high beats. My sla039 with a 8L55 movement ran at plus 14 sec. Really? Went back to Japan , to be regulated. Now plus 7. Traded in my shunbun for a black birch. Love the birch. Understated, quality watch! Very happy with it.........except......the high beat runs about plus 6 sec a day. Why???? I have old Seiko divers with 4R movements that run at plus 3. Just got an omega ti seamaster planet ocean. Believe from 2011. So far it looks like it is running at minus 1 sec. Kind of what I should be getting from my black birch😠

If I understand correctly, Grand Seiko has the more trained employees of Seiko (10+ years). Then what about the Seiko Spring Drive? I have a Seiko Spring Drive, not a Grand Seiko Spring Drive so I am curious where the quality difference is there. (It's a < 2012 one but still....)

I've never liked the two different clashing fonts on the GS and Grand Seiko logos. I don't get it. The historic logo that's on the Starry Night SBGW314 must be used on all Grand Seikos. It's this font which separates the Japanese from the modern European houses. Also, at the end of this video, Kevin talks about Grand Seiko being the most accurate watch in the world. That WAS true with their Spring Drive but not anymore. The most accurate watch in the world is the Citizen 0100.

SLGH021 - sizzles! Out of all the choices, this is the standout for me. The dial delivers on Japanese artistry, along with Japanese workmanship. (don't buy it before I do!)
