    Thank you, this was pretty informative... Quick question: what datacenter is best if most of my site visitors are in & within East Africa? Unlike Linode I've seen DO doesn't have 'Ping Tests' for the said datacenters...

    Use the ping test from Vultr to test the speeds. Then see if they have any similar data center locations and choose any of those locations based on your tests. kzread.info/dash/bejne/a5V9l5uTadjgqco.html

    Thanks for the info. I like to make puzzle and solve them. Could I use this to tunnel my connection through to another location? Say I had a computer that had it's own VPN where I wasn't the admin and thus couldn't change anything on the computer like add software or anything but I wanted the computer to think it was in a certain location before I logged into its VPN. Are there any guides that explain how to do this? Thank you!

    will volumes be considered as a different drive? or they just "merge" with the current one? (im asking because i need more space in my perforce server)

  • @rwahowa

    @rwahowa

    I've never had to setup one, but since it can be mounted it could be considered an additional drive. Check the docs for more info docs.digitalocean.com/products/volumes/
