Is it to host more than one domain on one droplet?

Really good and clear video. I'd use a Let's Encrypt SSL though even while using Cloudflare. What do you advise clients to use for email hosting?

I know this an old comment at this point but using DigitalOcean vs Cloudways is that most people will need server-admin to hire for DO development. Cloudways is an easy button.

Why did you install and use the client, putty, to access the server instead of using the terminal already on the computer?

Hey, thanks for showing the detailed steps in the video. I have created a droplet successfully. However I am on Mac and while using the terminal, I am at the *ssh root@IP step. Next, it asks for the password and I am not sure what password it asks. Any help there?

I have putty. I downloaded and installed it. I inputted root to que enter. I inputted the password which is the same password I use to access my wordpress website, but maybe thats the wrong password. Someone expound on this,

You can either connect using ftp (username is root, password is sudo password, host is ip address) or install the wp file manager.

Are the images up to date? I see your image from the marketplace will Install WordPress 5.5.1 where 5.6 is out for more than a month now. Maybe you recorded a while back?

Nope, recorded today, DO typically is behind with the images. Once installed it’s an easy update though!

Earlier it was completely free ( upto $100 for first 60 days) then some people started abusing the system. They would make hundreds of account , and sell these $100 free hosting benefits for $20 -$30 or so. It's true that we can make those account ourselves, but if we have already utilizes our free credits and run out of email ids, we look for those discounted accounts. For some users, even making one account is a big deal. They added certain restrictions to fight system abuse. Contact them, and they'll explain how the $100 credit work and why you were charged.

👎🏼 Good attempt, but you should say up front that this video is for Windows users only, and that Mac users will need to go figure out their own SSH method. Plus you skipped over a whole bunch of items that newbies would want to figure out, including the entire SSL install process which is never as easy as you say it is. Just keeping it real. Wasted my time with this. 👎🏼

FYI Mac users can use SSH through terminal without having to install anything extra. Just use 'ssh root@ip-address' (replacing 'ip-adress' with your droplets actual ip address of course) and then paste in your password when prompted. Easy peasy.
