Nice results! Could you also throw the egg, with the inside bottom, the profile you're looking for. When dry enough, flip it over in a chuck and trim the bottom to shape? Just curious. It is more steps though, doing it this way. 🤔. Your's is probably quicker.

I managed to throw one after several attempts - very useful to see how you finished it off. How will you fire it? WOn't it stick to the kiln shelf if you're spraying it with wood ash?

Hi Mike..I could fire it but only sprayed with wood ash. Actually I may pit fire these so they come out black and shiny? We’ll see ?

Does the pin hole need to stay open for the firing ?

I don't enjoy the Vertical formatt ... I'd like to see a return to Horizontal/Normal ...... cheers

These clips I’m making using my iPad and it does make it easier to upload more directly to KZread. I can prop up my ipad in the vertical position better than the landscape format. Some people say they like this format others do not ! Difficult to please all for sure.
