Was this pocket 2s jam correct Dnegs? I would’ve limped because don’t want to be in a coin flip or crushed scenario . I’d want to put myself in better spots . That’s just me tho , like I wouldn’t want to grind for hours almost at final table and then jam 22 with 21 BBS. I agree if it was like 10-12 BB I’d jam but 21 ?

such skill, you would only jam with 22o like that if you were the short stack. He had 20+ BB's left and at least 2 other shorter stacks (less 1/2 his stack). At least you've learnt not to do that

About new content....... The best you ever posted was the footage of you in that Czech, I think it was, hotel. You got to know a lot of people, went outside to shops, showed the game, talked about things. Viewers were really involved, that was amazing. If you could do that again would be great.
Everything I’ve learned is from you Daniel you’ve made me a boss at the tables but that last hand I would have dumped those 2-s like a bad tooth.
I understand the pocket deuces play and why he did it. His opponent could have had 9 7 off as many times as he had that AQ. For me though, 2's don't meet the threshold for jamming 21 bb's, even 4 handed. I'd still have plenty of chips left after letting those go to get into a better position. I don't play at DNegs' level so I'm sure my way is less beneficial in the long run. Thanks for the content man. I've been busting out at this stage in tourneys very often, so I'll be getting a little more intelligently aggressive once I'm ITM. Couldn't hurt!
I prefer this so much more than your heads up bout. A strategy employing some level of nittiness makes more sense to me than constant gto theory. Well played .. good luck.. I'm surprised that you gave no validity to the theory of limping with the dueces.. but your the best so... thanks again

One thing that I have seen you do a couple of times now, and I don't know how you do it is you get information on what cards your opponent threw to the muck on showdown.
thank you for this.
On the J6s for 10BB, I would say that is a all in or fold preflop. Do we have a 10bb min-raise range by gto? I do not think so, if we do it should be really really small. I am not sure maybe there are some ICM implications that I am not looking at.

Crazy run of cards phil had dnegs, feel u had the better game strategy for sure. Like u said, only way phil would win is if he had a crazy lucky run! He should be scared for round 2!!!
Do you have family in Romania that you still visit? I'm just curious, because I live also in the US, but I visit my grandparents in Bukarest once a year in summer. Thank you for any answer in advance and thank you in general for all the great content. All the best to you! Greetings, Adrian Huhulescu.
Thank you
“I don’t want no fucking receipts” absolutely killed me dude!
You played better than I’ve seen in past. I like the video format because we see your strategy in a real tournament. You hold on to hands a bit longer than I would, but it’s an interesting strategy, & sometimes works. I feel in general you are a bit impatient. After surfing some hands you go All-in with 22. This is a losing strategy. You had time to wait for a better spot. You explained yourself, but it was a bad risk. That’s what happens if you get close or to the final table. You get tired, cranky, And lose the patients that got you there. All in w) 22 on or close to final table is stupid.. But overall you played well. ..
Nice job. I didn't like the deuces shove all in there, I would only do that with 10-15BB's but I guess that's why I'm playing $50-$200 tourneys while your playing 5 figure+ buy ins.
Are you playing with a delay on these streams?
Why did he called the All In with 7A? Does anyone know the reason behind it? Thanks! 21:00

Obviously I’m no pro but pretty stand play I thought from the cards you had. Woulda folded the a2 on turn and not jammed 22 but what do I know gg. Fun to watch
@danielmahusky5780
3 жыл бұрын
Agreed, why call flop and turn with the a2 just to fold river. Wouldn't ever jam 22 with 500k plus to win 50k especially only 2 from final table
also KQ hand where T hi flop and turn J u want to not only lead when the J hits but u need to rep it and put max pressure on 7x Tx hands sometimes and KQ is perfect hand to use as ur semi bluffs here. set up rivers where a Tx cant hold on. i want to see a lil more leads from u sometimes.
do you stream with a delay daniel? i want to stream some poker but i'm always scared someone will join the stream and see my cards, i suppose it doesn't happen as much in bigger buy in tournaments

Went to the casino today. I’ve got AK of spades, I raise pre flop to $10 (it’s 1-2s blinds) get two callers. Flop is okay for me.. QQ9 (two spades). Guy bets $10, I call (one folds) 8 of hearts rolls off. It checks around. 7 of spades hits the river. So at this point. I’m beat by a couple hands, maybe 99s seems reasonable to call pre flop or Q9 suited…but have the nut flush. I make a pot sized bet… guy re raises. I call, he Shows pocket 7s….. Like wtf kinda poker is this. The only card in the deck that gives me a flush and him a house. The only card that causes me to lose money… Just sick tbh
@backwater._boys
5 ай бұрын
you got to think in this spot what is he raising with? What is he calling with pre flop when you raise to 10? Considering he just flat-called pre flop, pocket 7s makes perfect sense there, as your AK blocks Ace X hands, he could have suited connectors, but that's unlikely considering he bet the flop, so all that's really left here is a pocket pair under Js as thats ;likely to reraise you pre flop. It's an unfortunate and unlucky spot however you didn't have to call an all in on that hand.
"If he does call we'll just hit a straight, which I think is the ideal approach".

Not sure why people are DISCUSSING the 22 jam. If you are unsure if Dnegs played this correctly just put it into a solver and it will tell you the answer. This is heads Up NLHE, it is completely solved, no discussion needed. Btw 22 jam is the correct play. Sure, its awkward but it's GTO.

8:08 why call turn if you're gonna fold to that river bet since you have no cards to improve you. I think this wasn't played GTO. He has a shit load of bluffs on that river. Only hand he would be betting for value with that sizing is 3 queens. I think he'd size down on the river with 3 queens though. Looks like JJs or KKs to me
