It's been a year since I watch every single Villa match. As I am from Argentina, I started watching Villa thanks to Emi Martinez. The more matches I watched the more I wanted to know about Villa, so I'm glad to have found Villa on Tour channel because it shows the amazing atmosphere at Villa park. Hope Emi stays forever ,but if he leaves, I'll continue supporting Villa. I hope to visit Villa Park someday. Keep it up, Max. Happy new year and UTV!.

Gutted that we missed the chance to go top but what a way to end the year

As a Villan who remembers us winning the then first division in 80/81 and the European Cup 81/82 plus having seen us bag a couple of league cups and reach finals of the FA and league cups too I've seen great times at Aston Villa over the years, great teams, players and managers and of course I've seen us struggle, a couple of relegations, whole seasons of dire and desperate football too where our season ambition target would be to finish 17th, I've experienced it all and what it is to be a life long Villan. I'm so happy with the state of play atm under Unai, we often play some lovely football, teams fear us and we are still really building atm so I'm also happy that our younger fans are getting to see this too and I hope for the younger fans they will see us winning trophies once more along with the quality players and style of football, we play to win these days at Villa. It's worth remembering though we are only half way this season. So just enjoy being a proud Villan, a proud lion in the pride 🦁👍 UTV

What has happened in the last year is crazy, and when it comes to the fans, the club are a victim of their own success as people forget we are still in transition and rather just daring to dream actually start to “expect” when we are not the finished article “yet!”.. we have a starting 11 to rival any team but recent results show our week squad depth in terms of quality, all we need is to be there or there abouts come the Jan window so Monchi and Emery can make the necessary purchases and strengthen this team. We are doing amazingly UTV

Very true, I'm personally just trying to enjoy what's happening at Villa atm, I try not to think too much on what we may win, I dare to dream yes but I'm keeping my feet on the ground, whatever happens it's a joy to be a Villan atm, it's a pleasure to watch us play. UTV

Thought we were lucky today. A top 4 position will be some achievement if we can do it.

That spell between the red card and their equaliser was nuts. We should have scored about four times, and even though it took a last minute penalty to make sure that the story of the day wasn't us getting punished for missing too many easy chances I'll take it. Onwards and upwards. **edit** Oh, and there was a really nice moment at full time where JJ and Aaron exchanged shirts. Obviously didn't matter in terms of the result but it was probably cool/weird for them to go through.

Great 3 points. Only 1 defeat in whole month is brilliant achievement.

I've been a Villa fan since I was 6-7 and I'm 45 now and I've never seen the Villa look this good. Emery has distilled a belief in the players and has got them all comfortable on the ball, its like watching the old Barce team the way we control games and press and knock it about just probing till we see a gap its absolutely magical. I do think we need 3-4 more players to keep with the big boys, as much as I love Ollie we need another striker either as backup or main. Don't really rate Duran if I'm honest although he is young and we haven't really seen him much, we need another RB maybe an attcking mid and another winger. Villa park is buzzing again and I cannot wait to see what the future brings UTV VTID

We were in the bottom right of the North from where you are sitting. Behind us theres a bloke who does the VAR and when he gave the peno, about 20 seconds before it came through, he told us it was. Thats why were cheering before we knew hahaha! COME ON YOU VILLA BOYSS

Should've been out of sight before Foster scored. Diaby and Ramsey leaning back when striking the ball. Moussa should've had a hat trick. Got to sharpen up the finishing.THE With Konsa at RB that's virtually our 2nd X1 back four. Once Torres & Konsa out back in the middle and Kamara returns we should tighten up. Need to do some business in the window, RB, LW & a CF to bolster the squad options. My dream would be Frimpong at RB, Nico Williams on LW and Marcos Leonardo as cover for Ollie, don't think we'll get them but that would be give us a real shout at staying in the Top 4, we'll have to get another CB in on loan if Lenglet is recalled, i'm not a fan of his tbh. Need to get Dendoncker, Traore and Chambers to move on. Unreal 2023 though. Top 5 finish and win the Conference is the dream for me. Then bring in top quality in the summer (Do your thing Monchi!) to convince the likes of Luiz that staying at Villa is the best place to be. Max your expectations are high. We are running on an engine that is misfiring, suspensions and injuries. We are doing wonderfully however, another top 7 finish will do and anything better then a bonus. Just praying Martinez does not pick up a suspension.

The penalty was soft but there was contact and how many times have we seen them given for others. Had we taken our chances we’d have been out of sight before their 2nd. Thankfully Kamara is now available again. If the last 3 games have shown anything it’s how much we need him in there breaking up play and distributing the ball. Joint top with 42 points, I’ll take that!

That second goal showed what VAR has done to football. The goal was celebrated for five seconds before silence because many assumed Ollie was offside. Every bit of joy celebrating a goal has been ruined by fucking VAR. Forensically killing PL football.
