Hi Crystal, I was not awake at the time of your Live, normally I do stay up late (at times), but last night I slept early, was not well all day yesterday, but feeling better right now, hope to catch your next Live and Auction of coarse. You always find a way to cheer me up and I do love the sign behind you on your screen. Your love and motivation is what made me start doing my own channel to begin with. I never even thought about having a YT channel, until I began watching your channel some many years ago and you drove me to greater heights of inspiration and driving me forward to actually Start creating videos and uploading them onto YT. Hi here for the replay, Relaxing now as I couldn’t watch the live, fireworks over here were extremely crazy, my pets were so upset, Had to keep checking outside for fire because there were lots of illegal fireworks being shot up in the sky this went on until 4:00 a.m..

Definitely beads with feathers on the bottom. So glad you were reading my mind. I've been asking for a flapper dress style tank top LOL I may have to design it myself. That shawl is gonna be AMAZING. So tassels on either end right. You could even put that string of beads through the middle, have you considered some big wooden beads for the side tassels maybe. You could weave some suede looking material in places.....haha .... you go girl......I know it will be fabulous Did you hot glue the pearls on your MAL shawl? HMM. You teach me some awesome stuff Crystal thanks for making crochet cool. Hey Crystal! I like your idea of the feathers and the 'flapper' crystals hanging at the bottom because of hair entanglement and they would just look better hanging freely. Also I thought it would look good if you do the beads and tassels in the top and bottom of the more solid areas, where if you are holding it flat, they would be in between each other but at different levels. Hope that explains my vision! Love you Crystal! You're the best at whatever you do! 🩷🇺🇸🦄🧚P. S. What if you did a little 'mini auction' like in the fall, November-ish to help with the police fund raising. Maybe just a10 item auction? That might could be a nice $10K check to go them and not be a huge burden on you AND lower the amt of blankets you'll have to deal with next year. Just something to think about! 😍🌹🎇🥳😍🙂

Dang, I went to bed earlier than usual last night and missed your live. I love the late night lives. I understand you being overwhelmed by all the donations and the work time to process everything. I think there were more people like me that would have sent something if they hadn't run into problems toward the end. My kit was short one skein of yarn and the company ended up not approving a replacement. By then, the color was backordered, so I couldn't get it in time to finish and mail by the deadline. The sad thing is that my friend gave me a lap quilt, to mail with my afghan, as her donation. I offered to send it alone, but she said it could go with mine next year. Since you won't bè taking more, we will find another donation for our items. I will send cash during a show to help with shipping. I have always donated to animal charities and will for as long as I can. The gold shawl does not need to be bigger for you but it does for me! I like feathers and hanging beads on the bottom, but do feathers wash? NO tassels, they arenmy thing. I really like the hanging gold beads with feathers. I like the strip of beads for the neck and I would add a strip in 2 other places along the "V"s. I would sew the extra large gold beads in a grouping at the long corners and also place occasionally up the front but not at the neck. I wouldn't put them on the back because I don't want to lean back on them. " Ìf yoù ask yourself if what you have is enough, then it isn't! Add more!

I am now 62 years old and it wasn’t until much later that I understood why I was having so much trouble in school.. guess what? I am super creative. Also I’ve been a hairdresser for 42 years. Still work one day a week in the Salon A and I work at Michaels the rest of the time so I have a whole room full of stuffed fustuff harder just one room but we need new windows so I have to clean up my mess, lol. if you are a crafter, knitter, crochet, etc. do not get a job at Michaels because you’ll never get paid. You’ll spend more on products that you take out of the store than you will on getting paid. Trust me I know..lol I understand if you don’t want to read this. Silly I know .

Hello Crystal I just watched this live stream I think the feather with beaded fringe goes great together I think the bottom of the shawl would be best! Put the tassels with Big Gold beads on the each end of the shawl then the single beads spread along the top part of the shawl hopefully hair don't get tangled up in them! ❤😊❤😊

I’ve been using the value pound + from big twist for mosaic blankets! It’s pretty soft for what it is and great to work with.

No tassels

I am curious about this yarn. I'm hesitant with the cotton yarns now because I recently purchased 100% cotton and it's so difficult for me to use. I guess I'm trying to find something that will give me some stretch with the cotton and still be cool for the summer, and machine washable. Have you tried snow princess 5 ply combed milk cotton? I recently saw an advertisement for this yarn.
